Bryant, a former NBA player and coach, passed away after recently suffering a severe stroke, according to longtime Philadelphia-area basketball coach Fran Dunphy.
Bryant had a successful basketball career, starring at La Salle University where he averaged over 20 points per game. He was then drafted in the first round by the Golden State Warriors in 1975 before being traded to the Philadelphia 76ers, where he played for four seasons.
