I want Lonzo Ball to succeed now, that's because the Lakers did the right thing by allowing Lonzo Ball the freedom to make mistakes but still stay on the court as the UNDISPUTED/unchallenged #1 ballhandler for a NBA team in a small media market.

Being INJURY-PRONE was the biggest problem for Lonzo Ball as a Laker. Too much time off the court due to injuries.
Lakers franchise is better suited for NBA Playoff-tested veterans.
The day Lebron James was signed, it was over for the Lakers Young Core because it was actually supposed to be 2 Max Contract Players even last year, so those 2 Max Contract Players would have dominated the ball together anyway no matter who else was on the team.

sayed alam Who? I’m a 76ers fan and I go to the Wells Fargo Center all the time to watch the 76ers play. Ben Simmons is talented as hell. But for him to be recognized as one of the best, he needs to work on his jumper. Ben Simmons messes up the spacing for his teammates so much so that when he faces great defenses he gets exposed time in and time in again... He’s talented but when will he take his game to the next level? He’s young still but his game hasn’t developed at all since he’s been in the league. Not at all.

    • @sayedalam3441
      @sayedalam3441 4 года назад +10

@@ike.o6944 saying he hasn't developed since he has been in the league is such an understatement, defence has gone up to at least 1st defensive team level, he is aggressive at the rim and has been knocking down his free throws in the 2nd half of the season. I know his lack of shooting hurts the team, and it pisses me off too. But I think you just have to accept he ain't gonna shoot it at this point and even without a shot he still kills it every game, unlike some people on the sixers 🙄

Especially LeBron, how they bring up useless stats to downplay his legacy. But with Lonzo, people still continue to think he has no jumpshot. Lonzo is an above average shooter now. Every time I watched the Pelicans the man would not miss. Really impressed with the development in New Orleans, between making Lonzo finally develop into the threat he’s supposed to be, B.I. Brandon Spence Ingram will get max, easily. If Jamal Murray and Jaylen getting maxed out, Ingram deserves way more than either of them. If Lonzo jumps his scoring to 18 ppg, 7 RBs and 8+ assist he’s gonna get 25 million minimum.

Nah, Lonzo had the sauce for the Lakers, it was just injuries and pressure from Magic and the media to have everything figured out or a trade will happen

6'6 point guard should using that height advantage in the Low Post against much shorter 6'2 point guards. 😑😑
Lonzo Ball has succeeded at forcing head coaches to cater to his 3-pointers rather than the head coach forcing Lonzo Ball to dive to the low post after the 1st pass.

In today league, you have to be able to shoot. Give him time to complete his game, the shooting was the top priority. He’s gonna be a star.

@@WTFref2 Nobody is against Lonzo Ball shooting 3-pointers, but God gave Lonzo Ball 6'6 height that other NBA point guards would kill for. 😑😑😑
The most efficient shot is a layup/dunk. INTERIOR SCORING is the 1st Priority of all NBA TEAMS, even the Golden State Warriors.
The Splash Brothers make backdoor cuts.
Lonzo Ball is wasting God-given 6'6 height advantage by trying to avoid physical contact in the paint against 6'2 point guards.

@@macp2657 If you are a top notch head coach, you can use Ben Simmons as your GIVE & GO GUY and place Joel Embid on the WEAK-SIDE Low Block. 🤣🤣🤣
If the return pass to Ben Simmons in the Low Post is denied, he sets a cross-screen for Embid.
Basketball is not complicated, you just have to ignore the critics.
The most efficient shot is a layup/dunk. Should have given J.J. Redick the salary he wanted to stay a Philadelphia 76er.

@jtreynol Chris Paul still uses post-ups and he is shorter than Lonzo Ball, that's bullshit.

When the second pick of the draft has a jump shot that looks like that and he’s a point guard .. it shows the lack of skill in the nba these days .. they may be more athletic but damn .. look at Simmons when did point guards not hit a 3 pointer till years into their career
