Heatmap Visual in Power BI - Part II | Beautify A Business Dashboard

  • This is the second part of a series about Heatmap visual in Power BI.
    In the first episode we talked about how to create it using a matrix visual, and today I am going to show you one way to "upgrade" your report design.
    Please note that I truly believe that the most important aspect of a report / dashboard is to answer business questions, the look and feel of them should only come second (or maybe third).
    With that said we can still create a product that looks good and useful for our business.
    That's what I tried to achieve here, and generally speaking, that's my process of how to beautify a report.

    @Roland thanks for video. Can you point me to how you are creating the measures for legend and showing it on the UI?

      @@saruncse85 those are Min | 25th percentile | Median | 75th percentile | Max values in their dedicated card visual. But if you look at Part III, Barnabas shared a much more elegant way of creating the legend
