  • This video is for designers who are unfamiliar with 3D software and looking for a tool to create 3D nutritional supplement containers and mock up scenes. Adobe Dimension is a simpler interface to use and consistent with its series of Illustrator and Photoshop programs versus having to learn a new 3D interface and shortcuts.
    Here are the working files and mockup available with a donation (Thank you!)

    Thank you for this video. Is there a way to make the jar squared instead of rounded? I'm trying to make my own mockup for a candle with a square glass jar.

      Hello! Sorry for the delay. You could start with a square shape that has thickness to it and extrude it. You would need to create a separate plane for the bottom. That's the quickest solution I can think of at the moment. If you're using Adobe Dimension, there's a square container in the Asset library that can be exported as an OBJ and opened with Photoshop.

    you know how you have the ribs extruding from the lid? How can you have it going inward instead?

    Pleeeeeease use blender. Do the Donut tutorial and be amassed with the power and speed of the best free 3D powerhouse that is blender. Cuz this is painful to watch. No offense i did stuff like that too in Photoshop...

      I'm using a Mac laptop, with limited ram... Will I even be able to render with blender? .... That's why I'll have to do this the long way ....

    Dimension does not allow you to wrap a label completely round on an object it always shifts at the meet point.....don't know why....also, where are the renders?

    thank you for this amazing tutorial. I need to ask a question. I could not find a way to make the screw part at the top uneven. I have a bottle that needed to be drawn in 3d with an uneven twist

    • @cerencat8522
      @cerencat8522 4 года назад

      actually I found a way but it makes the twist so sharp. the sample ı have has a rounded shape

      @@cerencat8522 Have you tried tweaking the bevel? It can be tricky for sure. Hope you were able to get it close!

      You need to select all 3d shapes and click on the move tool (V) then the aligning tools can be clicked

      Hi! Valid question. You'd only want it if you were doing a product mockups with the cap off.

    it is not easier to just make the 3d strokes in photoshop and then align them in dimension
