I lived in Wales for a couple of years and in England for 15. Every pancake day I would make more and more people American pancakes and they loved them but they had no idea how feeling they were either! I make my pancakes just like you ate but about as big around as the plate so big strapping men had trouble with two of them and I can only eat one that big normally I make them a little smaller. But every British person I gave American pancakes to was like I've been eating French crepes my whole life not pancakes! LOL
@@FlixCreEightR its just a joke my guy..u know? a lil sarcasm? but it is a fact that America is percentage wise the most obese country in the world..just sayin
E Kramer2 I love making French crepes with sugar and lemon juice or just some good quality honey... I loved when my mother used to make them as a child, I know my grandmother made them for her when she was young too. And I hope to make them for my future children as well. Everyone has their own familial pancake traditions to pass down it seems 😂.
The trick is to not overmix the pancake batter or the eggs when making them from scratch... cook them on medium low(and allow time for the pan to warm before pouring), and flip when the bubbles pop. They should be nice and fluffy! But share any awesome crepe recipes you have! I love trying new recipes and cooking!

Now the best pancakes and best fresh syrup are served at some of the Maple Sugar Houses on the Mohawk Trail in North Central Massachusetts from the last week of February to the last week of March. The Maple trees have been tapped for their sap. It is all boiled to a syrup. They serve them on the most buttery, tender, perfect pancakes in the 50 states. They serve at least 5 or six in a stack.
I’ve never seen bacon stacked between pancakes like that, only served on the side. This seems a bit inauthentically American...and yet...it is giving me ideas...

ThatOneGirlOrihime They should have shipped all of them to Nashville, sat them down in Pancake Pantry, and had them eat those pancakes. They're world famous for a reason.
Logan Hollis yes!! I have often wondered if all these foods they are trying are REALLY how we make them. I think they need to come visit for a week, or 2, and really have some home cooked meals.
I was too busy wondering why they kept putting toppings in between the pancakes instead of just on top. I guess to make it look better on camera? Still weird.
Jamie being extra adorable in this one. Makes me wanna cook for him Madi's prayer is everything 🙏 The girl in my bakery told me red velvet is just chocolate with red dye and cream cheese frosting but I refuse to believe that. Someone tell me the secret of why it's so amazing and wonderful??
Red Velvet used to be red because the vinegar would react with the cocoa powder's anthocyanins (which gets redder in presence of a strong acid) but nowadays that is virtually impossible since most cocoa powders go through a process which neutralizes the anthocyanins, so they have to dye it red with food coloring. The reason why Red Velvet cake tastes so much different than chocolate cake is that Red Velvet has the addition of cream cheese, whereas chocolate cake has more chocolate in addition to chocolate frosting. EDIT: another thing is Red Velvet has buttermilk.

Buckwheat pancakes with light syrup......heaven, pure heaven. The natural sweetness and nuttiness of the buckwheat and then just light syrup really lets the full flavor come out. No butter, but if you do, whipped sweet cream butter ONLY.
There's Buzzfeed and then there is Facts....
Everyday , I look forward to seeing these guys and gals from Ireland! Its cute seeing responses on everything they see and eat! I just love this channel ! would love to see them expand , like how Buzzfeed has. I would definately watch :) ALOHA
Only with less cancer than Buzzfeed.
Jakk Frost lol... so true... but if they keep eating up our American processed foods, they could get cancer
LOL
Crepes have their place, but they're not a replacement for a fluffy, buttery, not-too-sweet-not-too-sour American pancake!
You did the right thing. You deserve a medal of honor, or sainthood, or perhaps the Nobel Peace Prize.
when foreigners come to America and instantly realize why we've got obesity problems🤣
He's fat so
Rmf 22 🤣🤣🤣 this is the best comment!
@@FlixCreEightR its just a joke my guy..u know? a lil sarcasm? but it is a fact that America is percentage wise the most obese country in the world..just sayin
@@tyraison1838 🤣👊
i'm 170lbs, smaller than most guys and gals
I love making pancakes from scratch. I just like em with butter and syrup.
Oddly I could never get pancakes right but I make really good crepes. So Hungarian crepes with apricot jam, raspberry jam, plum jam, etc made here.
I really really really like my pancakes layered with an over easy egg between them... total mouthgasm!
E Kramer2 pour thick, let the bubbles pop, then flip. It should be firm enough to not splatter. I used to do peanut butter and syrup.
The new guy, KA, "I'm getting paid for this!" AWESOME!
Just seeing this now but how hilarious and wonderful that our friends across the pond love our pancakes! Boooyah! 😊
Irish people try American Diner food! (Dennys, IHOP, Village Inn, etc)
Silver Diner, Huddle House, Waffle House, Bob Evans
callisto8413 I've only heard of waffle house
IHOP is trash
Hey don't you dare lump Village Inn with those other places. :P
Mr Valenzuela
None of those places are diners.
Facts videos are one of my favorite parts of my day. 😂
'I've given American bacon so much shit but I've never actually tried it"
Wait then why did he hate it lol
I KNEW AMERICANS LOVED MAPLE SYRUP AS MUCH AS CANADIANS
Sway Yeah no shit we've devoted an entire state (Vermont) to making only maple syrup
I'm a honey man myself..
B. Jr. the more you know eh
Nothing better than putting some warm maple syrup over a cold canadian woman ;-)
Hecks yeah! Northern New England lives for syrup! My new favorite is maple syrup cotton candy......... Amazing
This is the most delightful video I've watched all day. Thanks, you guys! :)
I love seeing any culture enjoy other culture. But more so with food. Food is always good no matter were you go. (most places)
Well look at that! Facts. gives them stuff we actually realistically have in America and they loved it! Hah! (i'm jk-ing btw, love you guys
Stories by Brittney
Ha! I love facts, but your comment just made me realize that this may be the first video where everything looked like we have it here. I didn't think "I am American and I have never..." a single time.
Stories by Brittney I don't mind when they represent our food properly and they don't like it. That's fine.I'd rather they represent the food properly and they hate it (like root beer), rather than them love it but be horribly represented. So, thank you this time around Facts, for doing thus right!
dunno, i've never heard of red velvet pancakes, that sounds like some made-up marketing iHop bullshit, nor have i ever seen anyone put bacon on them, either.
Reminds me of the Family Guy episode were Stewie becomes addicted to pancakes...lol.....
3:43 this is the reaction every American has every time we eat bacon
This might be the best Facts taste test 😂
Emily Loftin it's certainly the most positive one xD
Should do a different flavours of American bacon. Apple smoked pepper bacon, Maple Bacon, Brown sugar bacon, Hickory smoked and the list goes OOOOON! :D
Lajuun You ever think we have too many bacon recipes?
Bacon! "It's so good you'll thank Jesus". Lmfao
Should we say grace, Madi - "ehhhhhhhh Religion " 😂😂😂😂😂
That had me rolling too!
Haha
Me Myself And Jesus u know it's good food when it makes u find religion.:)
Me Myself And Jesus the sign of the triangle had me laughing :P

"Just give me the bacon and the syrup." My god, he's just like my daughter.
Loved watching them gobble up those pancakes. They were so happy and thankful...
Come to America we have 101 different pancakes.
In the middle of brushing my teeth.

how come?
Pancakes with chocolate chip and blueberries yum! Lol
Finally!! Sweet sweet sentiments to the US! yay! About time we feel some international love....it makes me feel all warm and fuzzy...💓💓

JamieJayCar .Videos that's what I thought too! You're super handsome 😍
I think somebody enjoyed the red velvet pancakes 😂
I’ve never seen bacon stacked between pancakes like that, only served on the side. This seems a bit inauthentically American...and yet...it is giving me ideas...
yeah, it's like they're getting their american recipes from a russian web page still operating on myspace translated from ancient greek while sitting in a small faded green room with a flickering fluorescent light bulb and chain-smoking chinese cigarettes.

Am I the only one who thinks the pancakes are small?
Thank goodness given the huge amount of pancakes they've eaten in one sitting.
Nope
ThatOneGirlOrihime They should have shipped all of them to Nashville, sat them down in Pancake Pantry, and had them eat those pancakes. They're world famous for a reason.
Logan Hollis yes!!
I have often wondered if all these foods they are trying are REALLY how we make them. I think they need to come visit for a week, or 2, and really have some home cooked meals.
I was too busy wondering why they kept putting toppings in between the pancakes instead of just on top. I guess to make it look better on camera? Still weird.
I fucking love the Irish, they're so innocent when they're sober
I know the Irish cap on us a bit but I love watching their reactions as they try our food. Cheers!
God bless America
limescale onetwo yep
Jamie being extra adorable in this one. Makes me wanna cook for him
Madi's prayer is everything 🙏
The girl in my bakery told me red velvet is just chocolate with red dye and cream cheese frosting but I refuse to believe that. Someone tell me the secret of why it's so amazing and wonderful??
Katya Rivas
Because they put meth in it.
misty smith 😂😂😂 this explains it's addictiveness as well
Katya Rivas True red velvet does not use food coloring... and the recipes are actually different.
Amelia Showalter Thank you Amelia! I knew there was no way it's just red colored chocolate
Redheaded girl = super attractive mannerism ^^
You ain't lying.
@@CazRaX she is smoin hot !!!

Gingers are way hot 🔥 but give them an Irish accent and my God I'm spent 😵
Never had a blueberry??? Do I need to ship some? We have a blueberry farm!
oh OH! ... 'Member Blueberries?' ^-^
OH Member, nice south Park reference.
Right?? I can't ever live in a world where they don't have my foods. One guy on another video had never had a peanut.
He's never had a bluberry? That's really weird.
goober123 Im many eu countries blueberries are really expensive and in my country as well. Some stores don't even buy blueberries at all!!!One day i made rasberry pancakes and they were a really good substitute for blueberries on my watch.
"It's like we're digging for flavor" 😂😂😂 well they weren't wrong. And now I picture Dermot as a crappy relatable Indiana Jones
LMFAO!
I really love seeing them enjoy our food so much I mean I love Irish food too young to us in America we find things outside of our culture Define interest so it's nice to see it the other way around really cool
If that's what your piss looks like... ya'll need to hydrate! Get some water. Go,go.
I'm a pancake guy when it comes to the waffle vs pancake debate.

I have never had nor heard of the red velvet pancakes. I definitely gotta try some of those. They looked amazing! Pancakes are quite good.
who else is american and never tried a red velvet pancake?
I don't get the red velvet thing. It tastes bland and waxy to me.
American and aye, never had these. But I hate red velvet cake (though I love the frosting). It tastes bitter to me because of the red dye.
