@Mohd Amerul Aidil I just wish they had addressed one thing which greatly diminishes Thanos's motivation in the movie for me. Before I saw Infinity War, someone pointed out "Why doesn't Thanos just make more resources" and I can't think of a reason why he wouldn't opt to do that first and it still kinda bugs me.
_____ _____ And how exactly would that work? Double the food on a planet? The food would rot, and what about actual land to live on? If we were able to double the resources so more people can live off them, the planets will become very densely populated, making room for more disease spread and crime, it would cause mass extinction, how do we solve that? Double the size of every planet? That could have unforeseen consequences, same as doubling the number of planets for people to live on, you can't just add a bunch of planets to every solar system and expect them not to affect the life on the existing ones negatively. Even as far as they are, the gas giants protect us with their gravity by pulling meteors away from us and suspending them in a belt. What would happen if our 9 planets became 18? How would that affect the meteor belt? And half the planets wouldn't be survivable either since they'd be too far from the sun, unless they were more smooshed together, which might cause collisions in orbit, or they would just pull themselves to each other with their gravity. I mean, I can't see any feasible way to double the resources on in the universe. Killing half the universe is the only logical option for that.
@@VectorDidact Dude, chill the fuck out. It's a comic book movie that uses some pretty loose science. Hell, Iron Man's suit is practically magic at this point. The ending of Infinty War was great but I thought it would of even be cooler if took more inspiration from the comics. To me in the movie it is weird that the "snappening" would happen while Thanos is in mid-fight and temporarily wounded. It should of happened right after the fight with Thor when Thanos escapes. Then while watching the sunset snap his fingers with a satisfied smile on his face similar to the comics. Cut to the heroes at Wakanda gathered up celebrating Thor's return and the thought that they had at least won the battle there and maybe injured Thanos. Then you start to see the heroes start flaking away. It be devastating after such a positive moment. The whole idea of why he wanted to snap was a show of power and his ego. Which I think ending this way would showcase that a little better. Doing it in Thor's face was definitely a awesome show of power. It just seemed out of place. To me it almost felt like maybe Thanos did get hurt badly and he decided to snap right there because he didn't know if he was going to make it so he wanted to make sure it got done. Otherwise why wouldn't he have done it right away? He obviously was waiting for the right time and even Thanos' character with the whole "trying to kill half of the universe" being his main focus and motivation for everything he believes and does life, there's no way he wouldn't want that moment to be special and celebrated. I don't think he pictured Thor's hammer in his gut on his special day lol
I think having the snap at the end of the movie was the best change from the comics. It’s a great way to surprise people and be left with a cliffhanger. It makes it a good start for Endgame.
at 3:48 speed down to 0.25x. watching Thor's body movements is classic superhero poses from the comic books. Thank you Chris for bring Thor to life on the big screen.
THANK YOU!! Thank you WatchMojo #1 was my biggest problem with the movie. Changing Thanos from being in love with Lady Death to wanting balance was trash to me. When I first saw Thanos I expected to see Lady Death right with him and I wanted to see how she was portrayed and the movie robbed me of that. I loved everything else about it but that.
@@consciousmindgame5047 one that can still wipe out half of a universe, yea. Especially since Death has relations with Deadpool and all Thanos can do is whine about it.
While I LOVE Brolin's portrayal of Thanos and think it works for the MCU, the comic will always be my favorite: The way he constantly tries to impress Lady Death only to deceed further into frustration and madness upon his failure to do so makes him more unpredictable and therefore dangerous. Not to mention he has some pretty badass moments in the comic: like when absolutely MASSACRED Quasar; you could say he got it worse out of everyone who bit the dust in that comic. Or when he fought the cosmic gods single handedly.
Yeah but that's all comic thanos is and ever will be a loser who even when he becomes more powerful than death could ever hope to be, would just throw it all away for her. Even when he kills his older self who is once again in love with death and younger thanos calls him "Pathetic" he just goes right back to her. And while movie thanos is a complete fucking nutcase and a Darwinist I can still respect him as he answers to no one he doesn't roll over and lick someone's boots he stands up against anyone even if he knows they might be more powerful than him, which is rare since there's only a few characters in the mcu who are. Tbh anyone would go insane from watching there whole race die due to arrogance and stupidity Comic thanos has balls since he's willing to go up against beings like galactus without the IG but he's just lady deaths litte lapdog at the end of the day.
Jessica Jessie One of the biggest problem of IW is in fact that heroes powers and possibilities are based on the situation and not on how big their power really is. Hulk even if scared always comes out, Thor can't resist Thanos punches and then he resist to the light of a star for some minutes? Vision that blasts Corvus Glaive with one of the most powerful object in the universe and the latter isn't even scratched but some minutes later is beaten down by Black Widow (!) and Falcon who are waaaaaay weaker than the Mind Stone? Just to say some of them. The script of IW lacks of coerence.
They were actually supposed to include Death in Infinity War and still have him winning her love be his motivation. They teased her in the mid credit scene in the first Avengers movie in which Thanos smiled upon hearing her name. They decided to remove her from Infinity War because her story being introduced would’ve taken too much from the movie’s runtime.
What nobody really realize is that infinity war aint based on infinity gauntlet, its endgame cuz thanos already snapped at the beggining and about bringing the people back
I remember when I went to see Infinity War it was a packed house to the point that they ran out of seats (luckily me and my brother were the first ones there). And I remember when the end credits started rolling, everyone in the theater just loudly said awww.
I can't believe how popular and successful these movies have become considering that when I was a teenager and these comics were originally published, myself and my group of friends were largely ostracized and became social outcasts for being "comic book nerds".
Avengers Infinity War, Thanos motive be like: I must erase half of the universe to prevent running out of resources. Avengers Infinity Gauntlet, Thanos motive: Must smash skeleton girl
you forgot where he got the gems from was changed dramatically. Power gem came from the champion, Reality gem came from the collector, soul gem from the inbetweener, time gem from the gardener, space gem from the runner, the mind stone from the grandmaster. its called the thanos quest
MCU Thanos: a dark lord who sees himself as a saviour and wants to restore balance into the universe. Comic Thanos: a dark lord who wants to be with death.
They literately had the embodiment of death (Hera) in the last Marvel movie, they could of made Thanos goal be to impress Hera instead of wanting to appear like a "hero" by "saving the universe population".
the snap happened at the beginning because thanos quest was the series were he searched for the gems hence the silver surfer getting beaten and going to earth for help.
I can’t believe they forgot some other big ones: 1. Appearance of Cosmic Beings like Eternity and Galactus 2. Using the gauntlet damages you with each Snap
If Thanos really did wipe out half the life in the universe, Wouldn't that also half resources. Think about it, How many animal and plant lives are resources for people. They'd be half the meat and vegetables would be gone, for half the people, thus its the same ratio as it was before the snap.
A lot of people say that but 1.People would just use more resources cuz thats human nature 2.Thats Thanos' mindset,he's kinda obssesed with balance When i see comments like this i wonder if you truly understood his character and the whole movie
Adam Warlock should be #1 or at least #2. He was the mastermind of all moves they made against Thanos and the second most important character in all Infinity arcs, but then he was completely absend from the movies. >:(
I'm SO SO happy Russo's didin't add death to the movie. The idea of Thanos fall in love literally with death is ridiculous !!!! his motivation in the movie is far more realistic !!!
Fjorgyn Yes he lives in a planet, yes he is titan BUT on MCU aliens exist but the existance of death in a woman form and Thanos fall in love with death would be super rudiculous !!!
Considering that Marvel has the personification of cosmic ideas such as good (The One Above All), evil (Mephisto) and the universe (Eternity) why does the idea of the personification of Death seem that ridiculous to you?
K Collier Except Mephisto the rest are ridiculous including a talking raccoon and a walking tree.... but death in a woman form would be the most ridiculous ! death is death, it's not supposed to be a person !
It's the personification of a universal concept- I imagine there are plenty of folks in the real world that think of Death as a single entity, not just a result of no longer being alive. Again, why is it a ridiculous idea? I get that you think it is but the idea of there literally being an embodiment of death and other concepts is something hardly restricted to comic books...
Fjorgyn I watch all superhero movies because are entertaining movies !!! the concept of heroes protecting the world is very intresting to me ! yes there is sci-fi moments but there are amazing movies !
You also forget those AFFECTED by the snap, not only characters that are either dead like Quicksilver but also characters that hasn’t shown up yet into the MCU, as well as some that WASN’T snapped, like spider man while Hawkeye got snapped
I really want to get into all of these, but there are so many films,I don’t even know where to start! Could someone suggest where to begin and which order to watch? Thanx!
Animal World it’s a very complicated film rights deal between marvel and fox but since the disney/fox deal went through we will be seeing the x-men and fantastic four in the mcu soon enough. (i say disney/fox because disney owns marvel, and don’t worry they have said they won’t change deadpool.)
Why would the x men(not entirely) even show up when they dont even have a single mcu movie plus we already have enough characters but you want more? Some of them wouldve faded/disentigrate(I think)
With Adam Warlock being set-up prior to Infinity War, I was surprised when they didn’t use him. This was especially disappointing since he is far more interesting and fits the “deus ex machina” role far better than Danvers did, especially since she ended up not really doing much in Endgame.
I think they will reverse the snap. Meaning Loki, Gamora, The Asgardians, Vision, The collector, etc. are staying dead and only the end of the movie deaths are coming back
The comics you can Imagine and enjoy, the Movies you can enjoy and watch for about 5 bucks, I honestly love the comics but I love how they remake scenes or come up with original scenes
Personally I enjoyed the sociopathic altruist Thanos, having read the IG. It made for a more compelling, layered villian as opposed to just straight-up nihilism.

That would have actually worked pretty well!
I think having the snap at the end of the movie was the best change from the comics. It’s a great way to surprise people and be left with a cliffhanger. It makes it a good start for Endgame.
Mephisto was also a pretty big deal in Infinity Gauntlet
at 3:48 speed down to 0.25x.
watching Thor's body movements is classic superhero poses from the comic books.
No in the mcu his more interesting as a villain
@@consciousmindgame5047 Not without Lady Death
@@DieselThePhoenix So in the comics he's a villain because he's a simp🤨
@@consciousmindgame5047 one that can still wipe out half of a universe, yea. Especially since Death has relations with Deadpool and all Thanos can do is whine about it.
Thanos fan in Marvel Comics: " Look at how they massacred my boy" 🤦♀️
Avengers Infinity War is the best MCU movie so far.I still give this movie a 9/10.
Army Knight I agree
The only reason i give it a 9/10 is because Peter Quill was an idiot. Getting the whole universe in trouble by personal feelings
cap 2, guardians 2, bp, thor 3, and spidey homecoming are better
wow... you're stupid
I am sorry Nelson, forgive me that I didnt count on Thor Ragnarok, Spider Man Homecoming and Black Panther.
Informative as per the usual. Thank you all at Mojo for all your dedicated work.
Thanos just wanted to wipe out half of life, so Galactus won't be such a huge threat
My favorite scene was the smile at the end. Cinematography at its finest.
who's here after endgame?
MCU Thanos: I want the universe to be peaceful, so that’s why I find infinity stone
Comic Thanos: Im simp
6:07 "timetravel" mojo called it
While I LOVE Brolin's portrayal of Thanos and think it works for the MCU, the comic will always be my favorite: The way he constantly tries to impress Lady Death only to deceed further into frustration and madness upon his failure to do so makes him more unpredictable and therefore dangerous.
Tbh anyone would go insane from watching there whole race die due to arrogance and stupidity
Comic thanos has balls since he's willing to go up against beings like galactus without the IG but he's just lady deaths litte lapdog at the end of the day.
Hulk was so weak in the movie🤬
Is it because he got injured when all the asgardians died too
Or your'e just one dumbass
He was scared. Up until this point in the mcu that is. Hes never faced anyone that strong.
Is he really the Hulk though? Or Loki? Just Kidding he has a Hulk Buster!
I daily watches your videos you are the best
I watch your videos daily, you are the best.
"Bring me Thanos!!!" x'))
What nobody really realize is that infinity war aint based on infinity gauntlet, its endgame cuz thanos already snapped at the beggining and about bringing the people back
Yeah it's more based on "Thanos Quest".
Next movie is where DEADPOOL and thanos fight over Lady Death!
Hell yeah
*In my opinion*
I prefer the comic to the movie
I remember when I went to see Infinity War it was a packed house to the point that they ran out of seats (luckily me and my brother were the first ones there). And I remember when the end credits started rolling, everyone in the theater just loudly said awww.
Wow! You are shockingly wrong. The comic is far superior to the movie.
Each good in their medium?
Another difference, the infinity stones colors are different. And Thanos snaps at space in comics, in the movie, Thanos snaps at Wakanda.
Where is dceu
Who is dceu
Why is dceu
The DCEU is dead the MCU killed it but maybe the DCAU might have a chance
@@minutemaidlemonade keep saying that
It vanished with the Snap
The DCEU is gone bro. Anything from WB is just a fan film.
@@tranquiloclub50 here's the irony
I can't believe how popular and successful these movies have become considering that when I was a teenager and these comics were originally published, myself and my group of friends were largely ostracized and became social outcasts for being "comic book nerds".
Avengers Infinity War, Thanos motive be like: I must erase half of the universe to prevent running out of resources.
Avengers Infinity Gauntlet, Thanos motive: Must smash skeleton girl
Must BANG skeleton girl ! (29 August 2018 1720 hours)
Thanos’ motive to impress a skeletal woman was infinitely better.
you forgot where he got the gems from was changed dramatically. Power gem came from the champion, Reality gem came from the collector, soul gem from the inbetweener, time gem from the gardener, space gem from the runner, the mind stone from the grandmaster. its called the thanos quest
Thanos , the biggest simp of all the multiverse
MCU Thanos: a dark lord who sees himself as a saviour and wants to restore balance into the universe.
Comic Thanos: a dark lord who wants to be with death.
Going to Walmart, y’all want anything ??
A 6 pack of Margaritas, lemon lays, and Toilet Paper.
Mac n cheese
Stoufers Mac and cheese
DjPlaysGames hot Cheetos
Couple liters of moscato?
They literately had the embodiment of death (Hera) in the last Marvel movie, they could of made Thanos goal be to impress Hera instead of wanting to appear like a "hero" by "saving the universe population".
The infinity gauntlet is also way weaker, should have been #1
Great video it be nice seeing Thanos as a farmer and be nice to know more of the black order infinity war etc
I mean, the movie was amazing but the comic Infinity Gauntlet and the lead up, Thanos Quest literally shits on the entire film.
the snap happened at the beginning because thanos quest was the series were he searched for the gems hence the silver surfer getting beaten and going to earth for help.
I can’t believe they forgot some other big ones:
1. Appearance of Cosmic Beings like Eternity and Galactus
2. Using the gauntlet damages you with each Snap
I learned that this movie is based on the Marvel comics storyline, "The Infinity Gauntlet."
The ending really creep me out
Thanos had so many great intros in that movie every time it gave me chills every intro
If Thanos really did wipe out half the life in the universe, Wouldn't that also half resources. Think about it, How many animal and plant lives are resources for people. They'd be half the meat and vegetables would be gone, for half the people, thus its the same ratio as it was before the snap.
The writers and directors didn't think through half this shit. Bad writing
*Casuals watch watchmojo videos
-Casuals "I rEaD cOmIcS"
Flashback? *time travel?* resurrection?
comics Thanos: Ultimate evil MCU Thanos: cares about others
I just wish Deadpool goes back in time and kicks Thanos ass😂😂😂
This was cool. And the background beat sounded like Pete Rock - The Creator
Correct me if im wrong, but instead of wiping out half the universe, couldn't he just create more resources?
Rohit Varanasy oi
Rohit Varanasy Exactly the Infinity stones can solve his problems without Violence.
A lot of people say that but 1.People would just use more resources cuz thats human nature
2.Thats Thanos' mindset,he's kinda obssesed with balance
When i see comments like this i wonder if you truly understood his character and the whole movie
It doesnt make for a great plot
As far as I'm concerned, the infinity stones are not capable of creating, they can only manipulate what already exists.
Comics are always better than movies doesn’t matter on popularity
I really want to get into all of these, but there are so many films,I don’t even know where to start! Could someone suggest where to begin and which order to watch? Thanx!
I hate that animal Locker Wolverine Cyclops Silver Surfer or not in Avengers Infinity War😠
Maybe because those comics are a rival comic to marvel? Idk. I may be wrong with no idea what your talking about.
You mean "are not"
Animal World They're not rivals. It's just that they weren't allowed in the movie.
Corvus should still be alive too. His glaive was intact.
With Adam Warlock being set-up prior to Infinity War, I was surprised when they didn’t use him. This was especially disappointing since he is far more interesting and fits the “deus ex machina” role far better than Danvers did, especially since she ended up not really doing much in Endgame.
Yep
And he's comic relief in Guardians 3
Haven't watched a video on this channel in awhile. Just a sucker for things on comics and especially stuff about Thanos.
Was anyone else not crying during the end since they knew most of characters were coming back?
Dane Walzer I think it was seeing them get there asses handed too
I didn't cry not like they got mauled or anything just ash no big deal
My favorite character died in the first 5 minutes:( but, then again he'll probably be back. He always comes back.
I think they will reverse the snap. Meaning Loki, Gamora, The Asgardians, Vision, The collector, etc. are staying dead and only the end of the movie deaths are coming back
They never died, they're just trapped in the soul stone
In regards to their voices
Josh Brolin is the movie Thanos. Gilbert Gottfried is comic Thanos.
Comics are better
True
You understood this only now?
The comics are shit
The comics you can Imagine and enjoy, the Movies you can enjoy and watch for about 5 bucks,
I honestly love the comics but I love how they remake scenes or come up with original scenes
I mean of course they are it's the original source
Personally I enjoyed the sociopathic altruist Thanos, having read the IG. It made for a more compelling, layered villian as opposed to just straight-up nihilism.
The Infinity Gauntlet seem more interesting than Infinity War... wow I'm shocked the MCU ruined the Black Order!
The MCU has ruined a lot of things.
