My 2 year old daughter can't watch cartoons for 5 minutes, but can watch some fella beat on copper for 20. I like the use of the old automotive parts for dies and anvils.
Yeah, I actually watched the entire video and found it oddly satisfying! It takes a lot to keep my attention that long. ❤
Woooww
So glad about the feedbacks
Love you all
@@Jakeunlimited Put on Loony Tunes. My kids could watch them for an hour straight.

@kevinnistor1954 👌
Watching someone braze copper to copper is wonderful. Watching those joins disappear under a thousand perfect strikes is actual magic.
👌👌👌👌👌🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
A $500 pot! The craftsmanship alone that goes into making this is mind-boggling. I don’t care what industry or techniques that can be used to fast track. This, these old skill techniques are what make this piece of work, precious
👌👌👌
Really such craftsmen needs support of enthusiasts to continue
Nope, this isn't real dinanderie, it would be made out of one single disc, no soldering , I can make it for you for 300 bucks if you want ^^ anyday
@surronzak8154 It csn be made with one disc but the video seems not to be intresting as it is just hammering
As a lifelong Craftsman I can really appreciate his extreme skill level, I hope someone is learning these skills from him!
🤩🤩🤩🤩👌👌👌
What a joy to watch a superior craftsman at the top of his game.
Impressive skills derived from years and years of dedication. 👍
🤩🤩🤩👌👌
Not at the top of his game, how do you judge his skills if you can't do this ?
@surronzak8154 ??
Anyone notice the humble yet proud smile at the end? Truly a master at work.
😉❤️❤️
I feel like I am learning coppersmithing from watching this!
@oldwarrant4 wooow.
That is great
I thought same. The little smile he allowed himself at the end was totally justified considering the man's skill using humble and basic shop made bespoke tools. Loved the video.
@mikeiver 👌👌🙏🙏
The fact that hes useing copper rod to braze the seams instead of cheaping out using tin solder makes me happy. A true craftsman who prides himself in the quality of his craft

It is not solder, it is pure tin, so it should be non toxic
@juiceofsapho yes, tin is not toxic

The amount of works goes into produce the copper pot is insane. Without disrespect for the craftsman himself or anything, I remember my grandpa had a similar pot he kept near his bed to urinate or spit at night. This was back in the day when no indoor plumbing was available.

Copper is such an amazing metal. I LOVE it, not only is it a practical element, but it's usefulness knows no bounds, and has a polished color similar to Gold and Silver. I make a hammered copper spoon as a project in Jr. High school and I loved the process and how easy it was to manipulate and when cleaned up and polished, was of incredible beauty, seeing Artisans make things with Copper makes me wish I had gone into metal smithy as a profession. Who wouldn't want to own a top quality hand hammered Copper cookware? No other metal is as efficient at heat transfer than copper is. It just needs to be properly lined to prevent toxicity like this man did. Copper can make one very ill if it isn't coated, because it can leach into food. but spoons made pf pure copper, used for dry goods is safe, so having hand hammered copper measuring spoons would be such a wonderful thing!
You mentioned a really important point.
Thank youuuu
Смотрю ваши видео,то чувство, как будто медитирую вместе с вами от перестука молотка.А чем вы покрываете изделия?никель или что это?
@@Карателев Your feedback is really satisfying🤩🤩🤩🤩
It is Tin
@@Карателев I believe he is coating these with Tin, it is non-toxic and has a low melting temperature, that is why he can spread it with a rag. Copper by itself is toxic when cooking.
@oculusangelicus8978 What a beautiful experience you have working with copper. I enjoyed hearing it. I hope you can do it again one day. I love working with copper as much as you do.
