Amazing how far modern technologies has brought model airplanes. Dad and I built and flew and 50 years ago we were impressed with building tiny 2 channel rc airplanes. Then 1/4 scale became popular and now they have jet engines. Wow! Just wow!
I was on an airshow with real Hawks from Finnish airforce last weekend. I can se NO difference in the air from the real thing, other than the paintscheme. Incredible!
That was truly AWESOME! Never seen anything like it. The skill of the man on the ground is astonishing! WOW! It actually looks REAL! I am amazed! Thank you. James in UK.

I'm not into RC, but I do like to see them on the ground and the take off and landing part, the work on some of the scratch built ones is truly amazing.
The realism of that big & beautiful plane is off the charts! Thanks for telephoto-ing in so we could see the little fellow's beard! Mario Walter's flying ability is evidently high caliber and, once again, your mastery of the camera and capturing the event is beyond wonderful!

The kit including, Jet (16k) e-land gear (10k), premium linkage set complete with servos, tank, scale pilot, etc totaling around 35k. Plus 11k for a 550 turbine. Paint job it depends a lot. All stickers around 1-2k. Probably close to 70k to have it ready to take off. Not an affordable toy for sure. They sell it at TOMAHAWK usa. Best quality models ever.
Far out! When he started popping flares I thought 'wonder how long it'll be until we see a scale red arrows team display? I watched three beautiful 1/3rd scale F 104G's on a video last night doing a full formation display and was stunned by the precision of the flying and the perfection of the aircraft. Its a long way from a Keil Kraft glider with a Jetex. Great work.
What a model…and superbly smooth flying…but c’mon, get rid of the two inside and offer rides to the children that attend…a good money maker for the event!
Just that engine by itself is $17,000. $15,000 for the basic plane kit. I would guess they are at least 40 grand into that plane. I hope they don't smash it. lol.
