My favorite here is the Hawker Sea Fury. I had three small Sea Fury RC model kits (EPO foam w/ carbon fiber spars). They have about a 24" wingspan. The one I built and flew about ten times, went at least 75 mph using a brushless motor on a 1000 mah, 4 cell lipo battery. The weight ratio is heavier, so it's more of a challenge to balance and fly. After getting it sorted they are much more exciting and satisfying than larger models. On the down side, crashing results in worse destruction. I still have two left.
Cool display….loved the Lancaster well all the British ones of course…..the last one I watched like this was when I was a kid at cosford air show….I’d love to see a bbmf in rc…you don’t see many rc hurricanes..well I don’t haha.
Christ, that scared me man! Gave me the willies. The heebie jeebies. Had to check and make sure I'm 'only' 60 and not 100. Been watchin' too many docs... either that or it's tbob's world-class video work. This vid was beyond cool. In the words of Samuel F.B. Morse - "what hath God wrought?" I know what. Vid genius. Thanks!!!
@@tbobborap1 , Thank you for the link, I thoroughly enjoyed watching that too. Thank you once again for sharing all these wonderful aircraft and their piloting prowess.
@@normg2242 , Believe it or not, there's some Arabs who are building 4 wheelers for the sand in double scale and bigger. I watched a video of a couple of Dodge 4X4s displayed at an auto show in Dubai. I'm sorry I don't have the link for it but you might be able to 'google' it.
Looks like the prop blades are not at all to scale on these gorgeous planes but maybe the engines can only handle a certain size prop but great video thanks for posting

It literally took off within the length of its fuselage...!!!
Six multi-engined WW2 bombers in the same frame! Excellent!

Woo! I love that 100% at 17:35! :)

Imagine how long it took for them to make that
Great to see Martin Withers with the Vulcan. The pilot of the Vulcan that dropped the bombs on Port Stanley Airfield during the Falklands War.
yes and hes a very pleasant gentleman to talk to as well geek,
@@tbobborap1 I noticed that. Must be a funny feeling being the only person in the UK who can still legally fly the "Tin Triangle".
That under carriage footage was great
It's nice to see these little war birds participating with one another rather than against. Great video, thank you for the post.

Beautiful control taking off and landing around 10.00
Love the 1:1 scale models at 18:00 in.
Wow 17:33 that's the most realistic rc I've ever seen.
11:30 This is a whole ass plane at this point cant wait to see someone sit inside of it!

What the heck? It went from large scale RC to real life!
Ouch, that P-40 sure got scratched up on the bottom.
Great smoke effect
Thank you! Cheers!
That looks so real it's insane
Great video as always from you, thank you for the entertainment that you provide for people who are unable to attend these meets, much appreciated sir.
many thanks angel glad you like the vids
Amazing noisy.. Great
I like the way the Fokker Dr 1 triplane takes to the air from a standing start
Almost sound like full size planes, very cool
thanks alex
the roar of the giant b17 is amazing
Muy interesante, parecen verdaderos. Le darán utilidad
Those P-40s touched down a little hard, made it look realistic with the landing gear collapsing the way it did.
17:35 on.....seriously? RC? Try again
nevermind someone is in it i think its not an rc
Zach Montanari p-47s are huuuuuge
Its rc i saw that on a festival
I think it's not rc if there is a pilot inside
Ah yes that one giga-Chad who brings a real plane to an rc airshow.
edit that isn't even an rc airshow sorry
Love the Triplane!
That's crazy, there were even people in some of the planes
no - really ?
@@tbobborap1 yeah i saw some people like waving, but I think they wouldn't be in it if It wasn't a real plane

Looks like WW2 and sounds like a leaf blower competition. Great vid.
The electric jet engines sound like leaf blowers, lol.
Is that an old military airbase? I love the look of the grass covered hangars.
yes its at raf cosford in the uk joseph
@@tbobborap1 That's awesome.

Great 4 stroke engine sound at 8:30 and flyby sound at 8:53!!!!
Go big or go home. :*) Wonderful stuff. Thanks.
thanks james
0:55 did they just drift that plane?
Fantastic the Sea Fury, the only criticism is that of the 3-blade prop., when it should be
5-bladed.!!!
5 blades are just way to inefficient when used in a scaled down model its really annoying because it would be better with a 5 blade 👍
The wing sound at 4:09 of the F4U Consair is so funny!
what F4U corsair ? where ?
Thats a SeaFury
Same here, that's my favorite WWII Fighter!
is the P47 at 17:35 a giant scale model (if so, what is the scale), or did you guys just bring an actual P47 along for the ride?
Thats gotta be the real deal. Or its a 1:1. scale remote drone
First video with many planes flying together
That Fokker DR I replica takes on off on a postage stamp... O-O !!
Also, the times I had at Duxford Airshows, lived in Cyprus for 20 years now so...
No, that is not actually, saw pilot at 18:06. (Unless if that pilot has the RC with him and is flying with it.)
The Vulcan only needs one thing... the Vulcan howl.
Flying $ signs😎
Is it possible with these larger scales that they could install three GoPros inside the cab for a 180 degree view in a split screen ?
I'm not an authority on that but I'm sure it's very possible. Givem' time....
Excellent ! Keep em coming Pete!
thanks chris
Have anybody... A link of a concorde o B52 bombard

thanks ken, its great when they get lots of bombers in the air
Why do we call them "retracts", they often don't?
19:16 these are NOT RC PLANES THERE REAL AIRPLANES
no shit sherlock - lol
Am I the only one who would probably hang on to it and fly away
Gosh those bombers cover a lot of realestate
Hi, Bear! They're actually really tiny - no bigger than a sparrow - but just very close to the camera... ;-)
theyre big birds bear
Where did it conducted
duxford uk
For the love of a.beautiful plane put good retracts on it or do fixed gear
Sorry to all the other guys but the Vulcan................
That's a RC at 17:34?!?! That's almost life sized!!!! (Like 90% scale!!!!)
That’s the real deal there.
That's a real one
Plus the fact is they cost the same as a good used vehicle definitely a rich mans hobby 😅

17:35 and the one after u can sit in them
