One thing that amazes me about Victor is his confidence. He missed six three-pointers in a row and still had the big guts to pull up for the seventh because the game demanded it. He's completely unafraid to fail.

I think he deserves DPOY …. Regardless of the team record if ya look at his individual performances plus the on/off defensive metrics … it’s clear he’s been the best this year.

No he’s not. Evidence of how excessive the hype was. Not impactful in the win column yet. Which makes the plot line better for me. I love that every player has many flaws and room for growth. Plus, it’s a team sport. So teammates affect everything.
No he's not. He is very inconsistent from game to game, and relies too much on shooting threes, and tries to dribble without success. He gets pushed around by many centers in the league. So he's not better than the hype, but he's ROTY and learning his way in the NBA.

I feel honored and lucky to see his early years before he even steps into his prime. The kid is absolutely ridiculous the shit he does every game. Even when he struggles offensively, hes still a major threat on the court given his size and IQ, knowing where to be and being one pass away on defense to everyone on the court. Yep, but I was really impress with the execution on that Fastbreak. He made it seem real easy, but i've seen most point-guards over-dribble on FB opportunities like that. For him it was split -second instinct... It's Wemby's natural feel for the game that almost ALL of us never knew he had... AND he's got it at 20-yrs old. It's really hard to teach that, and predict that...

Every time I watch him I’m impressed by how he doesn’t force things. He makes the pass. He sets the screen. He really is even better than advertised.
It's pretty obvious this dude is entirely set on being a do-all scoring and playmaking wing. His handles have come so far in one season alone. Kawhi's iso handles didn't start to really pop until year 4, imagine VW's growth trajectory.
Some of those taps were just utter finesse.
He will probably become one of the greatest players in the NBA. The guy scores points, gets rebounds, assists, is a monster at blocking and still has skills. He does it all and is still a giant! If you take more physical strength you will become unstoppable!
