But Endeavor never communicated that to him or helped him find other outlets or even support gear that could have helped. That’s why Touya felt like he was losing his dad’s attention and was being tossed to the side. Plus Endeavor never taught Touya the most crucial thing for fire quirk users and that’s to cool down. That’s why Touya couldn’t stop his flames.

I would like to point out that Twice unfortunately needed to die. He was way too loyal to a fault and was traumatized by what happened to Big Sis Mag as he blamed himself for what happened. So didn’t want what happened to her to repeat. The only ways there could have been a different outcome is if Toga had a redemption arc early and talked to him or if Twice never had joined the League. Also if Hawks had failed to kill him then more than half of the heroes would be gone and so would half of 1A and 1B. Edit/Add On: And in Hawks’ defense his original orders were to just kill Twice but he got the Commission to change it so he can instead arrest Twice and help him.
"no wonder he became a villain" actually yes lov and any other villain became who they are because of society or because they were saved by a villain. Imagine admiring heroes but when it comes to saving no hero saves you

You know I was once an Endeavor fan until I read Vol 31 chapter 301. Rei was very much worried about Touya’s mental health and wanted to focus on him and Fuyumi, and didn’t want more kids then but an argument ensued between her and Endeavor. Then next page she had Natsuo and it’s painfully clear what happened and how fast her mental health was dropping.
This video is so amazing!❤ But I honestly feel bad for the villains because when Toga was crying, the students said “She’s crying?!” which felt like they thought villains couldn’t cry or didn’t have emotions. No hate to your video it is probably the best reaction video I’ve ever seen!🤩
One thing ik yall are confused but enji did 'kill' touya because most quirks are activated by emotion and this is what happened to touya but enji had something to do it hecause he never taught touya how to stop a flame because he qas born qith a quirk defect and enji was only one major part of his so called 'death'

get ready for a long ass rant that no one asked forbut i wanted to share, [c/w mentions of abuse, spoilers? maybe a vent but id say its more just my findings and experience] regardless of his intentions, enji created an environment in which his kids believed they could only be successful/loved was if they were heroes. he married rei for the soul purpose of creating children with powerful quirks. maybe he did fall in love with her, maybe he did love his kids, but that doesn't take away the trauma. love isn't black and white, and it isn't always good. touya grew up believing that the only way to catch his fathers attention, to gain approval, to be accepted was to surpass all might. he watched as he was replaced by his younger siblings, watched as natsuo and fuyumi were thrown to the sidelines as he was. shouto, in touyas eyes, got the love he had been fighting for all his life, simply by being born. thats crushing. natsuo and fuyumi were neglected, and touya refused to be ignored. he just wanted his father to see what he could do, say "im proud of you." he never did. touya invited enji to see his newest move, enji ignored it. perhaps he thought going would be validating his self destructive behaviour, but yoy would think a father would be worried about his stubborn 12-14yo son, going into the mountains alone, to show off a new trick with his quirk that has already been shown to burn him. touya showed many warning signs, he attempted to hurt his infant brother, he would willingly burn up for enjis attention, he would beg his siblings to look at him. acknowledge his existence. in the most recent manga chapters, i do appreciate his redemption arc. how he is willing to, and openly admitting to his failings as a parent, husband and hero. id just like to make a point of reminding everyone that just because someone changes, they apologise, they "redeem" themselves, that doesn't magically erase the past. doesn't excuse it, doesn't justify it, doesn't make it ok. its when this instance shows in real life that i become bothered, when a perpetrator apologises to the victim snd the public 'accepts' the apology on their behalf. if you have not been a victim of the perpetrator, if you were not involved in the situation that the perpetrator is apologising for, you have no right to accept the apology, you don't have a say in how the victim responds. its ok to accept an apology but not forgive, forgiveness takes time. since these are fictional characters we cant do this. i am aware that i may be taking this too seriously but since my father left i have had a lot of thoughts on this topic. "he's your dad, you *have* to forgive him," "he was just doing what he thought was right at the time," "he never hit you though," "i wish i had your dad," "you're just so sensitive." people's perception of emotional and psychological abuse has gotten better, but i get frustrated having to justify how i feel. i do not hate enji, i find his character fascinating. i find the whole todoroki family dynamic fascinating. from a psychological perspective, it's disturbing. from my personal perspective, in which i have a father who shows similar traits to enji (or just npd in general), he makes me sad and brings up unpleasant memories. however i know thats not how everyone feels, so please note that you dint need to defend your views, I'm aware mine come from my own trauma and childhood.
