For anybody wondering why Kirishima has a scar on his eye, it’s because when he first got his quirk he was crying and when he wiped his eye he cut it.
I forgot Kirishima’s hair used to be black so I kept thinking that was sero 💀💀

I know that this comment might have came a bit late, but i think a better way to explain Midoriya suddenly gaining a quirk when he was thought to be quirkless could be something along the lines of, "He actually has an energy stockpiling quirk. The reason it took so long to 'manifest' where he could draw that energy out was simply because it hadn't stockpiled enough to be of use yet."
