in the owners group, there are people who reached 40-60k already with no issues, fingers crossed for the wet timing belt. I did a break in engine oil change at 500 miles to clean out the factory metal flakes wearing out the submerged oil timing belt
I don’t understand why they make the nose of the car so long. The drivetrain is the size of a loaf of bread. Honda and Mazda do the same. It’s like they’re giving it bigger exterior dimensions without any benefits. I’d rather have that increased size go towards bigger interior dimensions, or just make the car smaller overall.
@CarQuestion I think it's better to go by MRSP as that's the way most go by, interest rates vary and many manufacturers are offering lower interest rates now as an incentive, taxes also vary across the country. It might be good to mention Canadian and American MSRP also as you have viewers in all of North America and even worldwide. On that note I'd like to see more roller tests, they are informative and popular. Any chance of some off road trail tests?
I bought a white 1RS couple weeks ago, such great value, nothing else comes close, all my friends guessed it cost double what I paid. Its the perfect size for my family of 2 kids in populated vancouver BC with tight parking. I read its also one of the lightest car in the segment so that kind of helps the tiny engine move it
I apologize for my statement i am a owner of this 2RS Trax and i love it there is no perfect car consumers do your home work on any car now with that being said your photography is great but the matrix look and the flaws of this car is not helpful we need the good and the flaws with a car for the consumer like me. i love my Trax i have not had any problems with it. As with the future on the reliability it is like any new car also when it comes to speed this car can merge in to the hwy. Thank you
Greetings from southern Ontario Canada I really enjoyed the video what's your opinion of the envista by Buick, I just discovered that nova scotia and new Brunswick only require 1 license plate like the other provinces except Ontario and British Columbia
Glad you like it, and a big hello to all our neighboring provinces! Make sure you share the love of CQ in your area! 😛 The Buick is even more good-looking! But same point as the Trax: no AWD, weak engine... It's not sporty, not fully luxurious, but it's attractive and low-cost!
What's your bet on the reliability of the 1.2l turbo engine in the Chevrolet Trax?
I dont trust it
Trailblazer owners know best.

I feel like it won’t be as reliable as a naturally aspirated 4 cylinder…. Too small of an engine to haul that weight around.
Time will tell, but the more parts you have, the more it needs maintenance!

Greetings from Alberta, I got myself a 1RS Trax 3 weeks ago, loving it so far.
The top trim Trax is not anywhere near 43000 in Canada or anywhere
with financing and taxes yes it is

Just got my gal a 2025. I hope it is serviceable for a long time. She won’t put on more than 6k miles per year.
