They are an unusual critter. No lack of ants for them on the block so they are numerous and healthy.

You've got to love our wildlife haven't you Simon, they're just amazing. I was just wondering, are you going to put gutting over the door and other wall side, on the door side so the rain off the roof doesn't run down your neck coming and going and on the other side so you can have the windows cracked open a bit for ventilation. With the windows, what if you hing the window set at the top, so it opens at the bottom also for ventilation coming up from the cooler ground and hold the window set open with those old style adjustable rods that hold the window open at different distances and it also swings around and locks the window shut, I hope you get what I mean mate. Great job so far, well done Bud. Seeya Rob

Yep. Gutters both sides into a little water tank. I am going to hinge the windows on the side so you can swing them open to completely maximize the breeze through the cabin. Similar to my garden shack. I was thinking of using those rods for when you just want them open a little for the night breezes.

Busy man ,are you going to vacation around Australia or use the pull behind on your property? It is very cold here in central Florida this morning, 38 for us its freezing 🥶. Enjoy watching your new projects . Stay safe and well.

Just for locating around the block. There are some lovely locations to park it up near some of the other dams.

Nice job, Simon. But where are your lovely dogs?

Thanks Stephe. The dogs stay at home to protect the chickens. Too many kangaroos, wallaby, snakes and echidna at the block. While they might be lovely they are not the smartest dogs I have ever owned.

Simon, are there people on adjacent property near you or were the mates you hang with still sleeping? I'll give you a brief history of why your "ladder gymnastics" make me nervous; I was painting a pantry "smallish space" probably 8' x 8' (2.44m square) and decided to turn around while on the ladder to position the ladder to my back. It was quite unsuccessful. I did a belly-flop from about 4 1/2 feet (1.37m) onto a hardwood floor. 😩 I thought I had killed myself!! I knocked the wind out of myself and broke my arm trying to brace for the fall. The bloody nose and knot on my head were secondary to the sheer panic I felt as I was falling. We won't even get into the clean-up. The walls got painted, just not the way I would have liked. PLEASE be careful, we care about you and we want you to be safe. You do such a brilliant job of construction. You keep building, we'll keep watching. Cheers and blessings as always, g.

Ouch. That sounds rather painful and something I will definitely try to avoid. I had a close call the other day where I stood on the wheel and as it is jacked up it rotated under me. No ladder involved. Managed a very ungraceful tuck and roll. I do not bounce like I used to. Help is never too far away thankfully. I also have some of the neighbors phone numbers. Usually them calling me however.
