GTC.H vs GTC -- GTC.H is for hovering (not taxi) in one spot, say when your dropping a winch for example. and the beep trims are to move it slightly, hence when you stop clicking them it returns back to a hover on spot. GTC can be used for taxi... you click the UP cyclic trim a couple of times, and it will move forward, to stop moving forward, you click DOWN cyclic a couple of times. another words GTC does NOT return to a hover after you clicked the buttons, where the GTC.H does.

When you're going up the hill, the autopilot was trying to do the climb whilst keeping your commanded airspeed and the hill exceeded the climb performance. You needed to exchange airspeed for climb rate in that case

I think your IAS was set too high for cruise height, that's why your torque warning is coming in. The aircraft can't climb quick enough for the change in terrain elevation if you set a lower IAS it should be better.

Great video, please keep more coming as you learn more. I'm still unsure what the hdg/trk knob does, to a noob 3 letter acronyms mean nothing and something I wish they had more info on in the manual. As for getting to the autopilot settings, you don't need to click the CLOCK -- just click the "home" button at the bottom, then it's the middle black icon along the bottom row. :) Keep flying and stay safe! Looking forward to the next video. What would be good would be some tutorials on GPS/NAV1/NAV2 buttons and the HDF/TRK switch.

Heading and track are indeed aviation acronyms. The difference is essentially that track is wind corrected, heading is not --> 5 knots from the side will deviate your track over ground despite a steady heading

CR.HT - thanks for showing that, not played with that mode yet. Looking at the video, if you didn't intervene you would have crashed. I think you were going too fast for the helicopter to make adjustments, maybe slow it down to 60kts rather than 90.

Yes - I carried on experimenting with this last night. I wonder if there are limits in place to where the CRHT autopilot kicks in...nothing in the manual so far. Thanks.

I take it that these modes activated by the tablet do not exist in a tablet in the real ac? Thanks fir the vid 👌

The modes do, in some form, but are incorporated on the collective and cyclic as button options.

Can you overdub the audio and make another video where someone is narrating in American? I can't understand British that well.
