I’m 10 seconds into the video. If this is DE, you probably went over 400 torque and or maybe 500 wheel.

blown motor- Bet it dropped a valve or something. Has to be big to eat itself like that.

    Still making videos, I see!
I need a dyno tune on my 370Z- after I determine if it has a bad rod and possibly rebuild it 😂

Ya just make them whenever I can …. Probably do a bunch of videos coming up soon during the motor swap.

Damn, sucks to hear about the blown engine. But 22psi is pretty high on a stock engine right? Also IIRC back in the days when the 350Z first came out, one of the tuner said that the ignition is not able to support much more than 7psi. So maybe some misfire took down the engine.

That wasn’t a crushing down the highway blow up. No way. Really, how much boost was it at? Maybe low rpm high load situation? Although the piston in the intake is normal when they let go like that. Even when it’s just a normal let go they still get piston chunks in the intake. Or at least when a piston fails. I will usually replace the intake, although being a 2 piece intake, clean it really good and roll.

I mean …… to be fair he was probably getting on it really hard and then it let go once you hit the highway….. but ya that the coolest blow up yet
