This people mover, for me, is what a taxi should be. For the life of me I cannot fathom why pictures from Tesla hint at a two seater. It maybe half the price but a family of four would have to hail two ot them. And what will be the size comparison. My VW double cab pickup would seat 6 with space in the back for another 2. It was only an inch longer than my friend's beetle that could carry only 4. Function, practicality should prevail over style. Can't wait to see these on the roads.

Not really, you can wait half an hour or more for a bus. Then it's full and you have to stand, and people are coughing. And it stops at every stop, and you can't get off between stops. Subways can mean negotiating stairs, tight turnstiles, changing trains. With luggage or a baby. And then you have to walk.
