Oh boy, was this ever good! My grandchildren (Mikey and Sawyer) LOOOVE history, so I thought I would pull this up for them! We went to the park today and we also baked cookies, so this was a nice way to relax for the boys. My boys wanted to know: How do you know so much about history? They said it must take a very big brain for so much knowledge. HAHA. Well, thanks for the awesome video!!!!!!

I'm so happy to hear that they liked the video and have a love for history! I hope they continue to read and learn all they can about the history of people and places that excite them. :)

We’re not supposed to have a democratic form of government. That is the problem. democracy is a kin to communism. We have a republic.

The Quebec Acts was the last straw as far as the Colonials were concerned. It meant that ruthless Catholic power in particular would come t New England where at the time of the Revolution only 300 Catholics lived. This was by George 111a slap in the face of the Yankee. It cost the king the support of the New England pulpit. The brutal history of Catholicism loomed large in the minds of Dissenter clergy. The Quebec Act was a call to war.
