I saw him perform this live four times. I’ve never seen an audience more in the palm of someone’s hand. The tiniest change in expression had people losing their minds. His performance charisma is unbelievable.
What amazes me is how being who he is and looking like he does, he manages to remain humble and kind.

RM wrote this song within an hour after coming out of surgery and knew that V is the only one who could do this song justice. And he was right. V has the perfect blend of smokiness and smoothness to his voice that will make it feel like a warm hug when he sings. And the man is a visual...as you heard, the ladies were going wild! He has an intensity to his gaze that makes women delirious🤣

You are actually incorrect, look it up, Singularity was actually written by Charlie J. Perry and RM, with Charlie J. Perry being the sole producer.
In an interview with Billboard, writer Charlie J. Perry recalled that the song started out as a poem and it was built up from there. They wanted it to have a Daniel Caesar/D'Angelo type of vibe in the realm of neo-soul

I am convinced this stage and his look here contributed heavily to why Taehyung (V) has been #1 on so many “most handsome man in the world” lists for years. He’s such a sweetheart but absolutely feral in his intense looks and captivating on stage. Add in his jazz style and voice. Lethal. The fact they have 7 members and each one is this top and it’s why they have never needed an opening act they get to take a break during the show while everyone else does a solo or subunit. Best stage show around.

Not sure if this has been said and gotten buried amongst the other comments, but the live version of this track is what got V the acknowledgement to become part of the dance line with JK, Jimin and Hobi.... He is an extremely talented performer as are all 7 💜

The thing about it is his music video was total fire and the dance routine totally different for what he had been doing. As he progressed in these live performances they got better and better! Absolute perfection for him as a solo performer. I would just say watch the performance in Seoul, the final. This man was black on black on black. I mean he had black hair, came out on stage on a black bed and a freaking black feather full length long ass coat. Enough said!

This is the one song I would say better in the music video NOT because V’s vocal isn’t top tier jazz blues and all that good stuff. But perhaps because in my own ears these types of smooth is best in an intimate cozy environment instead of open air giant stadiums. Do check out the MV even in your one time for the full feel of the song and his vocal. Thank you for this.

I have a video I took of Taehyung performing this in concert and sometimes I have to just watch it and it still brings back how amazing a singer and performer he is 💜
What's also amazing is that he was stressing out about this while at the same time acting in his 1st KDrama. Slammed both. His dancing here promoted him to dance line. Seriously, Stigma. Soul/R&B. Can't wait for his album October just to see what he'll choose. Not only females. He & Jimin have everyone screaming, and there is no shame. So do the others, but those 2 have loud vocal screams. Singularity really is THAT performance! I remember watching it in the theatre when they screened LY in Seoul.. I was absolutely bewitched.. There's just something about his soulful voice paired with his lethal command of the stage.. He really knows how to entrance people with the most subtle gestures and facial expressions. Just add "live eng sub" in your search to find a live performance with subtitles. That said, "Enjoy BTS More" specializes in providing good subtitles for BTS live performances. But because they had a copyright strike, their videos don't always appear in search results, so you'll have to go to their channel and search there instead of using the general YT search.
