Always great videos from Stef. Met him by chance as I was delivering the Post at Pease Pottage Service Station. His videos got me interested in the amazing Abarth 595. I now own two of them and even two years down the line every time I climb into my car I still smile. Keep up the great work.
Hard to imagine these cars going electric... that will ruin it. An Alfa main dealer recently told me all new Alfa’s will soon be electric. These are surely sad times. 😭😭

Only after more than 100.000 km exist CO2 equality with the conventional engine. Electric car manufacturers take no account of nature: The current example is T*sla in the south of Berlin. T*sla is causing a water shortage here in a dry region. Charging electric cars is not suitable for the masses. The disposal problem of cars is largely unsolved. The high risk of fire has not been resolved. Entire bus depots burned down in several cities in GER because of electric vehicles. Massive loss of millionen of jobs in the European automotive industrie . Etc. Hydrogen is not a solution either, because when converting electrical current to hydrogen (as a storage medium) and back again as electrical current, the energy losses are so great that there is no advantage compared with petrol or diesel.
So just another re-badging job ! C'mon Abarth ffs! And the hybrid thing I totally agree but I got some stick when I commented that on your last vid haha 😂
And so you should lol. When the electric cars come out that will be it for the modified community. Ecus will be locked out so they can’t be mapped. No sound no fun except for the speed but hey you can’t push the thing as manufacturers are going to be forced to make the cars stick to the speed limits and if you do go fast it will probably report you. No it’s last legs for fun. Enjoy what we have for as long as we can because the fun and enjoyment is going to diminish. Just watch.

All I will say to all is enjoy what you have as it’s going to change/ end. I work in this sector and I can see the direction it’s going. Soon a car will be like that 1988 total recall film where the car will be driven by a Johnny five cab driver. Thrilling Not.

This is basically picking up where the trofeo and then pista left off. I think it would be cool if they changed the rear diffuser and rerouted the monza to the centre so they exited in a 2x2 square configuration a bit like a pagani but maybe that's one for the aftermarket scene
I just traded our 2nd Abarth in, it was a 70th Anniversary Comp and I just think Abarth and now giving nothing new at all and just relying on the Abarth name which people are clearly becoming a bit tired of. I wont purchase another until an all new model comes and not just a "special edition" its just crap now imo.
I keep getting emails from my local Abarth dealer mentioning that I should check out and test drive the new models over the last few years.. I have a very low mileage 50th anniversario so there's nothing new or better at the moment that would make me think about replacing it... can't wait for the 'test drive the new electric 595' in a few years. Hopefully that will go straight into my spam folder!

Sure ?. When your car runs in circuit all element must be very strong ( brakes, suspension, cooler, etc. ). I don't thik that Abarth F595 could be exactcly the same.
Are we really missing much by only having Multiair in the U.S. of A., or is the Tjet a bit different on power delivery? These cars really need an exhaust valve, a very simple and fun factory option, besides that, they can keep popping out the beast biscuits!
T jet engine is very strong and super tunable. If you just had one tjet variant out there you would be golden. But many people have got great power from the multiair.
I think it would be great to make this car wider and lower with adjustable suspension for speed bumps and a 250 hp engine as standard it doesn't need more because the weight is so low.

I like and would really hope abarth make a final edition thats not just a change of colours or just a wing with a new badge and a kit. I really hope they give us petrol head one last proper abarth ( fit the biggest engine you can and call it a day ) maybe a cheeky 1.7L 😍 or a bonkers biposto would be amazing.
I think Abarth are just bringing out new trim levels to keep sales going. In reality rebadging the Abarths with different trim is all we will get. There needs to be a special come out around 30k with near 270hp as standard. In power stakes other manufactures are now bringing out cars that are faster. For the size the Abarth is quite heavy. There will be a much more powerful electric version out in future. I nearly bought the Abarth but could not get on with it as daily driver. So got Suzuki Swift .
Does this mozza pop and bang like the one on the comp does. I've been told the new ones don't sound as loud as older models due to emissions regs. Is this true..
What do you think overall of the "full-electric" move from Alfa Romeo and Abarth? Would love to see a video about that from you. I mean Lancia isnt that big of a deal when they go full electric, there where almost dead at some point, but thats there comeback i guess. I'm due to change my 4 year old Turismo soon and honestly can't see me going for another. They haven't changed much and the colours they offer now are dismal. I've been holding off thinking they will release something new,but no, it's not going to happen. Seriously thinking of going over to the dark side and looking at a John cooper works. I've loved my car during the time I've had it but things are starting to go wrong so maybe it's time for change.
this abarth certainly has nothing new compared to the others, but we know well how collecting works and sincerely being the last "special version" before the electric one, this model here, if kept original, will in my opinion be able to re-evaluate over time 💰
Its the latest Yamaha Edition with Sabelts.... I get that they're trying to keep it going, but as Stef said i the video, the development budget has gone for the electric 595.... Thats a problem across the car industry, the number of choices are getting less and less because the budget is going to the next generation

I swear the cars have gone backwards since the Biposto and Comp!? my 2016 Comp is still better specced (Supersport pack) than 90% of all the new range. This chassis is yearning for a 200 bhp+ weapons grade swan song to match the epic wing and bodykit of the Anniversario.

It is only tragic people expect more from the same car, rather than moving on and keeping the vibe positive for the next wave of investors. They just need a pushbutton exhaust valve, but it should not be activatable while the turbo is "busy".

It was perfect back in the day. People are looking for something to upgrade to. GR Yaris is something that many owners I’ve spoken to are looking to move to as that is an incredible platform. Abarth need something new. As perfect as it is you can’t just be a one trick pony

A electric Abarth will need to have audio track off the exhaust sound because that's what sold me on my comp.

It doesn't look like it comes with sabelts according to the configurator. Also wheels are formulas not petals.

Does it get the bi-xenons as standard? The press release also intimated it had Turismo seats and not Sabelts, but as a 165 Comp it looks OK.
I believe it does but that will be country dependant. If the Uk want to Add it as an option to make more money
