Passed on my 2004 Sienna to my son last year. It did well on Michelins in 3 inches of snow in Baton Rouge, LA in 2007 (followed ruts made by pickup trucks mostly and bridges were sanded). When the Sienna was still young, got 29 mpg coming back from Orlando, it loved to stretch its legs. I loved the comfort and so did my boys. Congratulations 🎉.
That’s awesome to hear! Thank you for sharing. This really does feel like the “right” vehicle for our family. We are absolutely loving the conveniences and comfort 👌
That’s great to hear! I didn’t think I’d like the whole “van life” idea but now I seriously can’t imagine going back to a large SUV for our primary family hauler. 🤷♂️
Nice! We have a 23' Limited. Not sure the price difference, but the 7" screen, and the acoustic glass are nice. The van is really quiet while driving. The JBL sound is great but haven't compared to the other models.
And thats why the Sienna is known as the "Swagger Wagon" amongst minivans😂. Being a former minivan owner, its PERFECT for the family. In my area, we get snow for months, so I had to get a Highlander which works for us. Other ground clearance, the Sienna fits perfect.I think Mrs. Untamed will become a celebrity amongst the soccer moms in your area 😉😂😂
Haha indeed! It really is so comfortable for the whole gang. Super impressed by it… which a part of me is ashamed to admit. I’m about that van life now haha.
Glad you are enjoying the vehicle so much. Regarding the radio and the wireless phone connection -- in our 2023 Lexus GX (which is also older infotainment with wired only AC/AA) we use the Motorola MA1 to obtain wireless apple carplay and android auto. It works seamlessly and with the same quality (high bandwidth wifi) for the sound. The Motorola MA1 is easy to obtain at target, best buy etc. It is a set once and done item and changes the lifestyle in our GX completely, no more needing to plug in the phone which is great (you could just place on the wireless charger and be done). Sure the Motorola unit takes up one of the main charging ports, but well worth it, especially since you have a wireless charger anyway. Not sure if this would apply to your Sienna, but might be worth a try for the wireless luxury. Keep having fun with your new ride.
Haha thanks Caleb, I’m shocked… I knew it’d fit us well but I’m surprised by how smooth it drives …amazing turn radius, light steering. It’s just a pleasant experience all around.
Welcome to the sienna family! Can still hear your excitement while you are explaining everything, the trembling voice 😂. I love my 2022 limited AWD , except the chrome plastic wheels caps. I mean I got a limited not LE, but the bizarre thing is the LE actually do come with alloy wheels (17” but hey). Puzzling decision from Toyota 😅
The new vans with automatic doors are very handy when carrying a baby in a carrier plus the opening on vans is much larger than a standard car door. And if you live somewhere windy like Untamed you don’t have to worry about a door blowing closed on you or little ones. It was very easy to get our infant in and out with the sliding doors. Like Untamed said it is really nice to drive and very comfortable.
I am super excited about this minivan... a dealership said they have one coming and we can reserve it. I thought it would be impossible to get one at this point ❤
Congrats on the purchase! If you get the itch to do mods (lol), check out one of the recent speed academy vids- they did coilovers and a few other bits
Nice video thank you, I would love to get the toyota sienna woodland edition with 18” wheels tho.. Chicago pot-holes but in the open country this is great
Untamed for Toyota. Honda Pro Jason for Honda lol love it. And Sienna looks awesome. Wish I could afford it with two kids. CRV was the best I could do but this sienna would've been glorious.
We all know you are a new car junky! 😆 Best his and her combo! Congrats and enjoy! I saw a Land Cruiser in person the other day while on my GX460 and was a little envious.
Yes I had a 2021 Toyota sienna XSE and I absolutely loved it! Yes I sold it, do I regret it yes I do. Looking to get another one. You are right it is one of the best fans out there, I sometimes got over 40 miles per gallon. It was front wheel drive and it was just like your van! Did you I have to wait long to get one or did you find one at a dealer?
You’ve definitely got a keeper. Watching this makes me miss my minivan. Ours was FWD and it handled excellent in bad weather. I’ve got a question. I have the hybrid Camry and hybrid RX450. The Camry is often in EV mode. The Lexus is rarely in EV mode and the electric motor is primarily just a supplement to the gas engine. So how would you say the EV works in your van?
Thanks Cid! I know I’ve said it before (many times)… but this one really feels like a keeper for us. It’s perfect for the kiddos and super easy to drive. And very comfortable… 👌 The EV is certainly the primary with gas power being supplemental in this. It wants to stay in EV mode more often than not. Feels seamless too. 💯
Nice review. Does it ever feel under powered? It only has 245 HP, which is much less that it's competition: Honda Odyssey (280 HP), Kia Carnival (290 HP). It's even 20 HP less than my 2012 Sienna. Also, does it have any cigarette lighter ports to power radar detectors, dashcams, etc.? Thanks.
At times it feels like I really need to lay into it to get up to speed… but I remind myself that I’m still averaging 36 MPG so I think less if that and just punch it without reservation.
I actually am on a waiting list for this exact van/model. I’ve been waiting for over 8 months on this van & actually just received a phone call this morning that the van is currently getting allocated for delivery next week. As of right now, we’ve been told that the price for this van was just shy of 54k. We haven’t obviously seen the final paperwork yet & anticipate that we’ll be trying to get that price down. I know you had mentioned in your first video on this van that there was a 5k markup. If you don’t mind me asking, what did you pay out-the-door for it? I only ask so I can get a rough idea where things are/will be & see if I can get the price down some. Any help would be much appreciated! Thanks!
I got one of the first new Sienna's in Canada, a limited AWD model which is the top model in Canada. It is overall excellent but has some flaws. Halogen lights is a fail and I replaced all with LEDs save for the map lights (too much work). The entertainment system is terrible. An official apple cable works but the older model had a blu ray player that was simple and easy to use. The AWD system and overall power is a dropoff from the gas v6 but absolutely enough for getting through snow. The plastic wheels are terrible. One of the first things I did was get real wheels on instead of the plastic covered wheels.
I just watched more of the video.. I figured the US Sienna's are the same. You have the Sienna Hybrid. All Sienna's are AWD now. There is an electric motor that powers the rear wheels, so it is technically an AWD system. It's not FWD.
Would have preferred an AWD but you kinda need to take what you can get with these. Aspects of the FWD are better and after having driven through the worst snow storm to get home without a single issue… I’m 100% happy I got this version instead.

Something like a Sienna is far more practical and if Lexus were to create some luxury Vans, I think they could be a leader in the field and create a whole new trend. I have the same model and love it! I added a bineze box to mine for wireless carplay and more as it was the only thing that was missing for me!
raised 4 boys, had the honda, but bought the Toyota after and loved the AWD (and now hybrid) of the Sienna - awesome ride and 100% practical
That’s great to hear! I didn’t think I’d like the whole “van life” idea but now I seriously can’t imagine going back to a large SUV for our primary family hauler. 🤷♂️
If I owned a van it would be one just like that. Team Toyota 🎉
It’s super easy to drive and incredibly comfortable 👌 tons of conveniences for the kids. 💯

I appreciate it brother, thank you! We’re very pleased with this van!

Minivan for the win! I think none of us are super surprised that it works well and is being enjoyed. 😂

Under shifter area could hold a cooler for kiddo road trip drinks.
It’s the nicest Mini Van I’ve ever seen Untamed 🔥👍🏼🔥👍🏼
Sienna is really reliable and comfortable. Good luck and enjoy.
Nice. I got sienna limited trim. 2022 and got as new
I have owned two minivans and they are very useful and I knew you would love it.
I did not think I was going to like it this much… it’s a phenomenal vehicle.

Front wheel drive is good in snowy conditions until you start to plow snow
Becoming a dad october and considering replacing Corolla with either sienna or rav4 . Enjoy the videos

Thanks brother. We love it here! Congrats on your AWD Sienna!

My 12 is FWD and goes in snow extremely well 👍
Congrats on the purchase!

Nice video thank you, I would love to get the toyota sienna woodland edition with 18” wheels tho.. Chicago pot-holes but in the open country this is great
Thanks for watching! Haha yeah Chicago does work on low profile wheel/tire combos
I have 2 front wheel drive sienna van with cross climate 2 tires and they do great in the snow
Untamed for Toyota. Honda Pro Jason for Honda lol love it. And Sienna looks awesome. Wish I could afford it with two kids. CRV was the best I could do but this sienna would've been glorious.
Hi, that’s would be awesome. Hopefully she’ll want to do it beautiful sienna van
Haha she’s needing some convincing that’s for sure
brand new tires and front wheel drive are a good thing hybrid making it a heavier vehicle added plus!
We all know you are a new car junky! 😆

Glad to hear you made it home just fine through that storm. No regrets on choosing 2wd, then?
Its a lazy boy on wheels. Cool to see you got the 25th anniversary.
I have read in forums people say the brakes feel soft, and seem slow bringing to a stop. What is your experience? Thx
I can see that, it’s definitely no where near as “grabby” as what I’ve experienced in my TRD Pros.
Did it come with the turn signal indicators on the mirrors or was that an aftermarket add on?
How long you had to wait to get this beautiful Minivan?
It was already allocated and inbound to the dealer… so I lucked out. About 3 weeks.
Beautiful

…You can’t go above a certain mph in pure EV mode
I dig it, A LOT!!!!
Haha I did not think I would… it’s so comfortable though haha. I don’t even know what to do with myself …sporting 36mpg.
What do think of the new upcoming grand highlander ?

I'm very interested in Sienna. However, no Sienna could be sold....
Not for me but nice for the reason you wanted.

…cont’ couldn’t get the inverter & digital rearview mirror without infotainment center
It’s almost like it’s designed and engineered to haul families in comfort - who knew?!
Haha ikr? Baffling. We love it!

they should of build the dash the same as sequoia
Hi, for the area you lived.....why didn't you get AWD?

Isn't this the hybrid? if so, isn't it AWD?
I like it
Sienna is much better than a Grand Highlander.
I’d be more worried about the door blowing closed on a kiddo.
Now tell us about the mark up $10k?
Or discount at $7.5k
It was a 1K markup. If you’re interested, I’ll be posting this for sale in the next few days. I’ll just aim to break even.
@@UntamedMotors why did you decide to sell it?
@@johnisbuildingthey didn’t really LOVE it.
How much for this car?
$52-54K
👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
The 2nd row doesn't fold down??

Haha not yet!
1x(9/25/23)………14:00…..done thank you
First!!!
Dude you bought the wrong vehicle u need 🚌
Haha also true 👌
You ain’t fooling No one
Whats the deal with all the leather wrinkles? Toyota needs to do a better job. This nonsense doesn’t happen in the Lexus line up
Too much talk about the weather, get to the point and talk about the Sienna.
If your time is that valuable I suggest you get off RUclips 😆 😉
