Dealers are working hard to make themselves irrelevant. Pretty much any new EV startup will follow the Tesla model of skipping dealers entirely and selling direct to consumer. The mafia tactics of forcing consumers to eat inflated prices and/or add ons will come back to bite them eventually. Keep fighting the good fight, man. Love your dealer markup roasts!

Haha thanks brother! You’re 100% right about that. Ford’s CEO has hinted at moving to the Tesla model several occasion now. They’re even beginning to make that change in Europe. Not here yet of course… wonder what car sales will look like in 2040… 🤔

Unfortunately these are the times we live in. You found what you wanted and needed after many phone calls and your time is worth more than the "overpaid" price. I am not in the market for a minivan but I do shop other Toyota prices. The Sienna is very low inventory compared to other models. Some dealers I've searched have one or none. So all in all, you got it, now enjoy it!

Seinna concern..... I have 2022 and we have had problems with battery going dead periodically when it sat over night. Come to figure out the door sensors for the 2 rear doors stay on and run down batteries. You can turn them off in the dash settings. If you don't use them I'd turn them off cause it's same to charge battery in back. When the battery is dead u can upen the back hatch so you have to crawl over seats to get to the small battery on passenger side. And its 6 month back order to get new sensors too. Otherwise it's been great.

You did real good man real good
No vehicle stacks up all around
Gas mileage, comfort, size, features etc
    2023 White AWD 25th AE
Paid 59K OTD delivered to me
Was 500 miles away so had to do the math about picking it up and time off work and they told me I had to get it the day it arrived at the dealership or it would be sold to someone else
About 3k in addons in that price like you
The local toyota dealer it shipped to for pickup offered me 65k to sell it to someone else on pickup day probably for 70k-75k after just like you I called about 50 dealers for 8 months to find an XSE to then get lucky and find this 25AE with no actual markup except for the addons
No regrets at all and I absolutely drive around with a big smile on my face
Most expensive vehicle I have ever purchased but worth every penny Everyone loves it once I show them everything on it and it looks amazing
Everyone loves it and can’t get one
Especially not at the price you paid
    You did real good man

I commented before about my excitement when the dealership called us saying they had one of these coming and that we could get it at MSRP. We go to the appointment to value our trade in and to put down the money to reserve it. Surprise surprise, once we get there, the sale guy acts all surprised that the other guy (not there for the appointment) would promise such thing, and said we should still reserve it with their 20% (yes, that's right 20%!!!!!) Markup. Take it or leave it. So, of course we left, angry that they wasted our time with this bait and switch, but lesson learned.

I like it. No SUV is as useful as a minivan for people/family hauling when you have a family of more than 4. The size of SUV you need to have the same level of storage makes the vehicle huge, bad on gas, and more cumbersome to maneuver in parking lots and garages. And the Sienna is the best of the minivans IMHO. So this is a W. No, the cool factor is not there, but that's why you have another vehicle!

I made that choice because we needed a van for our family. Don't need you to be a keyboard warrior and make me or anyone else that paid a markup feel upset with their decision. I'm simply giving my take. Don't need to state the obvious that it is our choice. Obviously we made the decision to buy.
