Great to see you and Lewis really enjoying some dad and son time. These are really precious times Murray, treasure them. I lost my dad suddenly 3 weeks ago and so glad I had some amazing adventures with him to treasure. Anyway as always thank for sharing another superb video and take care.
Stoked that you managed to take your son into Glencoe and the weather stayed decent. Still remember my first scramble with my dad like it was yesterday. He's not able to do them now but the memories still remain 🙂
What better place could there be in Scotland for your son to experience scrabbling in the sunshine! We were so glad to see his previous bad luck hasn't put him off hiking the mountains with you😁👍. The pink rib looks fantastic, we would love to do this route next time we visit the highlands. And those views, wow! Absolutely stunning!🤩👌. Glad to hear you have now recovered from covid, and are able to get back out. Always a pleasure to watch your videos😁👍😊

Hi Murray, well we made it across the pond and this morning we did a nice walk from Lochinver to Achmelvich beach. Not sure if you have ever done this nice stroll but as you said today sometimes its the views from another mountain that can be just as good as climbing the mountain itself. Anyway when we made it up the hill we had a great view back over to Quinag, Canisp, Suilven, a couple of Culs, and Stac Pollaidh. It was magical! Hope you get back to full strength soon and keep posting, we love your videos and they inspire us to get our boots on....
Hope you had a fantastic time - it is a wonderful area. Took Lewis up Stac Pollaidh a few weeks ago (video coming soon) and we had a great time :) Take care and thanks for watching ATB Murray
Thanks Murray, yesterday was the long walk into Suilven, as mature walkers we planned base camp and a picnic just above Loch na Barrach, that was three hours in so we went up a little ways and then turned and headed back to parking lot at Glen Canisp lodge. Sad to see the lodge is now closed but there is a snack bar there that is open. Today was falls of Kirkcaig to make sure our legs were still attached! It was a pleasant surprise to see the other side of Suilven. Another pleasant walk was up the Ben above Loch Glendhu with fabulous views up the loch and over to Kylesku. Look forward to the new video and don't let Lewis steal your thunder! ;) Andrew
Got up the pink rib in the springtime this year and just as I reached the end of the scramble then the clag came in and stole the views. Will hopefully get back up again this year with a group of friends and show them the sights.
Thanks for this lovely video Murray. This is my first visit to your channel and I can see why you’ve got thousands of followers. I am not only enjoying the wonderful scenery but your commentary is excellent too. I am also admiring your video technique and I’m just wondering what microphone you are using. I have bought one or two Bluetooth microphones for my iPhone but they were a bit flimsy or the sound quality was poor, but your audio is very good indeed and it seems well worth to get a clip on mic. Good to hear you are surviving the Covid episode, it’s a bit of a weird sod.

Hi Murrary, I've been following your videos for a number of years now. Today, we took our 11 and 8 yr old kids up Stac Pollaidh. We'd been up it about 15 years ago when we did a tour of Scotland for our honeymoon, and so knew the view at the top is brilliant. Happy to say, both kids and adults made it to the top. Kids faired better physically than us oldies. 15 years has taken its toll on us city dwellers. Really windy at the top but the views are so good. Keep the videos coming.
Fantastic stuff Kenn - hope you all enjoyed the best wee mountain in the world (Stac Pollaidh). I actually took Lewis up there a few weeks ago too and had a great time - video incoming in next few weeks hopefully :) Take care and thanks for watching ATB Murray
This has inspired me to go up there next month when we go to the Highlands - even before the official scramble it looks like that's a great place for landscape photography; and not that difficult to get to. :)
Hi Murray, brilliant to see and hear that Lewis enjoyed his day in Glencoe, it’s a stunning place. I’ve just got my daughter interested in hiking and she has joined me a few times over the last couple of months in the Lake District. We started off low and just getting her fitness up gradually. Like your son she is loving it. Thanks for sharing your adventure as always! 😀🥾⛰🏴
