I buy the Crazy Richard's peanut butter. It just has one ingredient - peanuts. Sometimes the oil separates naturally in this type of peanut butter. I have found the easiest way to resolve this is to dump the entire jar into a food processor and blend up. Once you do this it will not separate again and sometimes I do a couple of jars at a time.
OMG! Who knew you could do this at home! I used to always go and grind my own with the high powered machines at Earth Fare, I never knew you could do this with your food processor...now I know and I know what I will be making today. The nut butters I buy today are always overpriced, so making my own will save money for sure....I stopped buying those major brands with all the added sugars and oils years ago....so now to make my own!!! Win! Win! ... Yes ! Thanks again for your amazing recipes....Cathy (with a C) in SC
I know. I was doing the same thing. Overpaying for nuts, then paying to use the machine in the store. It is a game-changer. So glad this was helpful :)

Looks so easy
It is so easy. Press the start button on the food processor and walk away until it's peanut butter. So easy.
Great way to make almond butter without paying an exorbitant price. And the same with pistachio butter as well.
So true! I agree, and it's so easy! Make sure you try that sandwich! YUM!
Interesting ideas....b t w i just found you..keep up the good works...
Welcome aboard! Thank you so much. I appreciate the support.
What kind of pan are you using?
I use Scan Pans; they are a little pricey, but they last forever, and they are non-stick...for real. amzn.to/45B42ER

Approximately, how long will it last shelf/fridge?
Homemade peanut butter lasts 3 months in the pantry. In the refrigerator, it lasts longer; however, in the fridge, it gets hard and doesn't spread.
3 months is a long time. And I doubt it'd last that long anyway. 😂
I tried but it doesn't became smooth paste
You have to let it continue to process. Some nuts are drier than others. Scrape down the sides, and turn the food processor back on.
