*Note: at times I refer to the Iowa "caucus". A primary and caucus are both ways of selecting a party's nominee. They are quite different in nature and one of the additional reasons why our prediction might be wrong is that Iowa holds a caucus while New Hampshire holds a primary.
*Note: between the time this video was filmed and the time you're watching it, Ron DeSantis dropped out of the presidential race

Today I watched so many videos of yours on time series for my exam tomorrow, and you have been really amazing! Thank you for making a political video! I am so interested in politics and this makes more sense with knowing how predictions and polls work. Keep making these please!

Hello. I am bg fan of yours from Nepal. I've understood so many of statistics concepts from you and you've made my life easier. I've watched so many of your videos in my free time, those that I could understand. Your explanations are so intuitive. Could do a video where you recommend books, resources for various statistics/ mathematical topics and data science topics? That would be awsome. Thankyou!

Can you do this again? Polls mean nothing. There are too many confounding variables.

very cool, would've hoped to see the actual computations rather than a description of the techniques used but very informative nonetheless

I’ll include more specifics next video. It’s always tricky to know how specific vs general to be so your comment definitely helps me calibrate. Thanks!

Given that 70% of Haley voters were actually not Republican or conservative, I’d say your results were fairly close to reality.

I would like a video on why we should trust political polling ever again after 2016.

The Dems and Independents will win across the board this year, 2024 and even better in 2026 The public is tired of people like Trump, and all their criminal activities. People want politicians to just do their work, help America and get legislation passed. Trump's legal court cases will keep him away from politics for a long, long time. We also like Liz Cheney and Mitt Romney, whom may bring the GOP back to it's center.
