I have been dreading getting a new phone because of this issue. I researched it about 3 years ago for my 2015 Corolla and it did talk about using a credit card in the corner. But I didn't realize it meant to jam it in between the screen and the plastic. I had to use my driver's license since my debit card was too thick. Thank you for this fix! I found that using the magnet (on my Fitbit band) also works
Oh so maybe I DON’T have to spend $2000 to fix this? That’s the only solution the dealer gave me today. My car isn’t even 5 years old. I’m definitely going to give this a try. So ridiculous that this happens. I just got a new phone that a had to be added to Bluetooth and this issue caused major headaches. I used your trick, but used a cheap, super thin, plastic trim pry tool that got in that seam super easy. Thanks for the tip.

Our screen is so de calibrated that for me the card trick don’t work 😢 Update : I managed to do it ! I had to twick with the interface but I finally manage to add a new phone device on the car thank you so much !!
