Thank you so much for WATCHing my video and I hope that you check out all my other content.
I release 3 videos per week, all watch related, including reviews, first impressions and general watch related topics.
I try very hard to diversify my content. Featuring known watch brands, microbrands, Aliexpress. Some I have purchased new, others second hand.
The majority of the watches that I feature I have purchased. I buy them to enjoy, wear, have in my collection. I then also feature them on this channel.
Being a smaller channel it is challenging to cover the cost of all the watches that I buy and partly because of this I have become an affiliate member with a number of companies including Aliexpress and Ashford.com.
If you are looking for watches from well known brands then it is worth checking out:
    www.ashford.com
If you are looking for great strap options then definitely check out:
    vario.sg/
    and
    artemstraps.com/collections/s...
As an affiliate member I may leave affiliate links in the descriptions of videos. These links will direct you to the watches that I’ve experienced, reviewed and would certainly recommend. If you choose to use those links I will earn a very small commission.
Thank you very much if you choose to use those links.
Below are affiliate links for my absolute favourite watches on Aliexpress. Each of them I have owned and had positive experiences with the stores that they are linked to.

Your right in the reasons most of us don't need a watchwinder, unless of course you own watches with mechanical perpetual calendar or moonphase complications. But what a nice winder it is, a real looker and a statement piece and beautifully finished. Yes expensive, but a good 2 watch winder from a non chinese brand can cost between 250 to 300 pounds, but they look not a patch on these (at just under 900 pounds). So expensive yes but with all that tech and the finishing and design, not too far above the realms of possibility. Would be a great addition for a serious collector or for someone to keep and show off they're best couple of grail watches in. Thanks James.

Thanks Robert. This one has really made me rethink this idea.
I still think it is a nice thing to have but not a must have item.

I agree with you wholeheartedly. I don't want my watches constantly wound, but there are times when I wish I could keep certain ones wound up. The winder your reviewing is both elegant as a watch display and a winder. The lighting is fantastic and the features are excellent. Awesome review. Thank you

Is that green light on the fingerprint sensor always flashing? It destroys the whole look in the dark.
Seems like a major design flaw.

It does seem to flash when switched on.
I don’t have it switched on all the time.

I agree, I only strap my watch to my dogs tail about once a month

I honestly though these winders would be more expensive. I don’t think I need one, but thanks for showing them to us.

James, James, I don't have a watch winder. I am a watch winder. I really like giving attention to my watches and winding them is part of that. Also, I tried to get my lovely wife to wind them, but wouldn't you know it, she had alotta choice words for me that I won't repeat here. So what to do? I have been on the fence on buying a winder. I priced em and I said I can get two seiko 5s and a tandorio for that! So when I am totally satisfied with my collection and don't need any more...Who am I kidding I'll never get one. Thanks James!

I have a winder that cost around $100. I use it for my weekday watch to get through the weekend and be ready for Mondaysl. Being a day-date and very accurate, it is worth it to me to have the winder. I wouldn't bother putting a weekend watch on it to get through the week though.

I have two Chinese watchwinders, cheap battery operated. They are inside the gun safe, with the rest of my watches. The safe is big enough I figure it be really hard to pick it up and run away with it. That display is not just expensive, but if a thief was ever to enter my house that shiny box is the first thing he is gonna notice.

I’ve got a couple of 2 watch winders. My 7S26 movement watches live in there. For those watches, it makes sense to me as I really don’t like the old Seiko shuffle, especially as with those watches, I rarely wear them the required 8 hours a day to keep them going. They have been proven to work for many years as dailies without need for service and also upgrading to NH36 movements is so easy that I’m not concerned about the wear. 🤷‍♂️

That is a very good point. I have an old Seiko too that I can never keep wound up.

I do have a way that I tend to set my watches.
I might try and put together a few “helpful hints” to create a video.

I won't buy it. It is quicker to set a date and time on a watch I want to wear, than take it off this box. Mechanical watches are so inaccurate, that their time needs to be corrected anyway, so this would double the time to put a watch on my wrist.

Many interesting vintage watches don’t have a quick set feature. It can take a really long time to set the calendar, making a winder worth using.
Certainly a perpetual calendar wants a winder.

I’m actually just finding that with my vintage Rado I just bought.
Yesterday I wore it all day with the wrong flat because I could not be bothered changing from the 10th all the way around to the 3rd.
