Just got the c-30 . Do you think to small for medium action rod?
It’s a little small for a medium action rod to be honest, but you could probably make it work, but it would go better with light, action or ultralight I wouldn’t really go above a medium light

What about the japanese oiled felt braking system, doesn't it requires maintenance & reoiled to last more than 3-4 years?
My LFS charges $60-70 for this reel so I put some more doe in and got a Daiwa Legalis LT 2500-d for $80 online instead.
I´m also bought Okuma C- 10 BRAZIL.Traíra fish.
im making c-30 for shore jigging. is that a right size for shore jigging?
