The pain that it is, I hope the rebuild kit, has new armature, and stator/field windings, in addition to bushings, and brushes. Windings can build resistance over time.

Thanks man, I was at my wits end trying to figure out how to remove my Starter motor on my Ninja 250, one bolt was reachable and the other was just not reachable didn't at all think about removing the gas tank and Air filter.

So the bike turns on without a fuel tank ?

Yes, there is always a little fuel in the carburetors unless they're drained. Enough to run for maybe a minute before dying

Negative. Fuel injection requires fuel pressure created by the pump with fuel from the tank.
