Ang pagiging singer ay hindi rin palagjng panghabang panahon. Ang importante din na nakapag ipon ka para sa kinabukasan mo.
Voices like Steve's, Arnel's, Miljenko Matijevic (Steelheart), Jimi Jamison (Survivor), Peter Cetera and other singers who hit high notes can only last a certain period of time because as a person gets older, the stamina diminish. A rigorous concert schedule like the Journey is doing would take its toll on Arnel's voice (He is nearing 60 y.o.) We're lucky to have heard those voices in their prime.
Tumatanda na si Arnel natural lang mag iba na ang boses niya. Hirap na siya sa high tone. Yan ang problema na mga vocalists pagnagkakaidad. Wag ng magpumilit at lalo lang mapapasama sa mga basher. Tama na at may napatunayam na naman siya at malayo na din naman ang kanyang naabot.
Arnel ya has cumplido tu sueño, 17 años en donde querías. Steve se retiró con 40 y pico, su voz ya no era la misma, eso fue lo que dijo, y dejó a todos sus amados fans con dolor, pero ganó ser recordado por el mundo entero como “LA VOZ” porque nadie lo escuchó cantando con sus cuerdas vocales gastadas y rotas.

Watch there concert (Aug., 2024) at Sofi Stadium here in LA. Band performing that night was Steve Miller band, Journey and Def Leppard. Ang lupit ng kababayan natin! He was all over the place and his voice was perfect! I know SP fan boys will react but hey, even SP cant hit those notes now. Arnel Pineda help Journey back making music and touring again. Lets just be happing someone is continuing Journeys music.
