This is the most obvious shit and has been since the beginning of the damn season. Jimmy was getting hit all the fkn time and nearly had his knee taken off on one of the hits in a game in which the defense had a record night for quarterback pressures. Jimmy got blamed for almost all of it it seems like. The shit line is not his fault. EVERY SINGLE QUARTERBACK NEEDS DECENT O-LINE PLAY. Jimmy did not have that and gets shit on so much. Then to get booed like he did in this last game vs the Broncos I mean damn. Pretty messed up.

I’ve seen some of the chatter about moving on from Kolton Miller and am flabbergasted lol. Who in their right mind would think one of the top 3 LT’s in the game can be moved on from. He is still great and doesn’t show any signs of not continuing that.

Im no fan of AOC4, I think he can be a good backup. But after watching this, I don't see how a QB can be successful. We are keeping two guys in to help pass protect that should be running routes. Team are getting pressure with 4 guys constantly if they bring more then 4, they are untouched. This is brutal. I knew it was bad, but this is worse than I thought. I've been saying it for years our line is soft and you can't win with a line that gets pushed around.

Should the Raiders have to keep in two skilled players to help every play? No. I do like the fact that they were willing to do so in order it give us a chance at least to get the ball off.
Champ sounds like his priority is upgrading OL/DL and I think that approach will lead to a noticeable difference in our overall performance next year.

Finally some objective comments about this OL!! Literally have been waiting for this the whole season. We need to boot James and get a real center - he just isnt made for the mental part of the position, also hia grip on the ball is whay 8 years olds use and the snap is suuuuuuper slow. Kolton at this stage is dispensable - getting older, more expensive and less reliable, nevermind that the performance just hasnt been there. We need to stop swinging people around!!!

I have been preaching the need for an upgrade on the OLine for a couple of years now. While Parham looked to have been a good pick at guard last year, he has not done near as well this year. But I think he deserves another season at least, although I am not so sure he should be moved to Center like they wanted to do. I think we are better off leaving him at left guard and doing what you suggested in the video, draft an OT and C. Hopefully we will get some finality with who the coaches will be going into next year and they can game plan our moves in the draft. Between draft and FA we need a QB (either a starter or a backup if they choose to start O'Connell), RT, C, DT, CB, and depending on what happens with the current players, possibly a RB and WR. It wouldn't hurt to pick up a promising LB as well (would be great to find another Spillane).

Go back and see that these problems have been going on before the Pit games. The Lions game was just as terrible from the OL. The Keyon Benton highlight reel against James was just as bad. We need to draft two starters on the line this upcoming draft. I think we should give Parham a shot at center next year, unless we can draft one and keep Parham at Guard until we move on from him. . The line is going to take some time to fix and it won't be complete in a year. The issue is we have 4 below average starters on the line. Teams can get by with one or two below average starters on the line just not 4. Very good observati0on on keeping gin TE's and Rb's to help protect. I knew we did just not as much

Also I watched the highlights from the Colts game because I had to listen on the radio, one thing that stood out to me was I didn’t see our defensive scheme putting pressure or putting their OL in a conflict. I’m not bagging on the defense or PG bye any means because you just can’t when the Defense has made this season more exciting. Our season was hanging in the balance and the team sits Kolton your best OL and you don’t make adjustments across the DL to put them in conflict, Diablo is not great bye any means so I don’t understand why you’re handicapping yourself bye playing more relaxed instead of taking the fight to them!! I’m not sure if Diablo was spying on Uncle Rico but he never ran out of the pocket and they just pounded us with JT! It reminded me of us getting run over bye Ladanian Tomlinson back in the day when it was hat on a hat football. I believe coaching on both sides of the ball lost this game and the team seemed flat, I said before the game to get 24 and maybe just maybe!! RN4L great content once again

A more mobile qb can overcome our weak offensive line play but only occasionally. Moving up in the draft to get a new QB means losing a 1st and 2nd round picks, for maybe 2 years, leaving 3rd round and later picks to try to get a quality tackle and center. You are not too negative on the OL. If these plays were not here to see and you bashed on them. Then maybe we would talk about it. I really hope that the Raiders use their draft picks on 2 Rt's & 2 LT's and 2 Centers. Chris Jones will be a free agent and he would be a good fit as a DT. The right tackles need to have 20 plus games played w/ longs arms. Get rid of the problem. bouncing around with different positions can leave you with 4 or 5 bad draft choices. And if we hit on all 4 tackles and have back ups we trade the 1B's on each side to an NFC team for a first and a six. teams in need will pay it. Fill the biggest need first. If we end up keeping them we have solid backup. Buy in bulk! These are some the Raiders can look into. all show to be 6' 7" and have good arm length. JC Latham RT , Garrett Greenfield RT Needs to be developed late rounder, Ethan Driskell Played RT in 21 Late round, Andrew Coker RT, another late round or FA // Joe Alt LT a bit stiff need to learn to bend better.. Amarius Sims LT have to watch the Ankle injuries. If that can be addressable would be good. Tyler Guyton LT needs time to develop. Patrick Paul LT same here needs time to develop.

  • @donbebe6092

I say move Parham to center and start Munford at RT. Sign Connor Williams and Dalton Risner in free agency to be your starting guards. Starting Munford might be a hot take, but he got some valuable reps this year and showed improvement. Let him start one season and see what happens. Could also bring back Eluemunor or a cheap veteran tackle to take over if things go south. Overall, you don’t want to invest too much in the OL. An average to slightly above average OL is enough to run this offense if we have a capable QB under center.

Sign a PROVEN, SMART Center. I say Lloyd Cushenbury from the Donkeys, last time we poached a center from inner division it worked well (Hudson)
RT sign a vet who can compete with munford whoever loses is the swing tackle, we can draft a RT in the first next year if needed
    Sign a top corner
    Draft a QB round 1
Draft a BPA OL or DL in round 2 and 3

    LT. Miller
    LG. Parham, vet free agent

Our oline would be leagues better if we had a qb who could move out the pocket the reason why our oline struggles the way it does is because the opposing dline has no fear in our qb in running every dline that faces the raiders they are not fearing our qbs ability to run so no matter what all they are going to do is rush the qb there is going to be no contain and they aren’t going to care about leaving holes because they know the qb won’t run

Doesnt matter who the QB is, if the protection isnt there, we are not going to win.
Use the first round pick on the line.
We take a rookie qb and play him, be prepared for another losing season.
Yall think Adams wants to play for another rookie QB?
And for those who want to trade adams to move up in the draft. Your going to come back crying once again, we need a number one wr, bcuz myers is now getting doubled and no one else can get open.
Draft a qb in the later rounds. One you can develop and if hes better than Aidan, then you replace him later in the season.
Im sticking with Aidan as the starter next season.
For those who keep whining, and want a qb who runs or is mobile.
OLD, SLOW, JOE FLACCO JUST MADE THE PLAYOFFS.
In case you say, well that's a fluke. How bout Jared Goff. Another pocket QB who doesn't run. Yet he, like flacco are in the playoffs. Stop with this narrative of how the NFL QB must be mobile.
You can still win the SB with a statue at QB. 2 of the last 3 sb winning QBs have been statues. Brady and Stafford.
Stop being emotional and use some logic. Aidan was a rookie QB who had to deal with drops, inconsistent pass blocking, awful playcalling at times. Asking for playoffs was asking for too much. You go from McDaniels to a rookie OC. What did you expect.
Does Aidan need improvement. yes he does. But what you saw, was a QB progress and not get hurt.

Soo Sanjay , will you finally admit that AOC "might" be our future?...you showed us 20 or so examples where AOC could not succeed DUE to the offensive line, and ONE example of AOC not running forward (yet again, due to the pocket collapsing). Brady didn't run either.

its not just the line the qb has to move slide in the pocket he has to learn that so its not just on the line

Sanjit im watching the same film you are its not the o line when your qb stands in the same spot he gets sacked at. watch allen he would of moved away from the pressure and bought more time and his o line allows just as much pressure defenses get payed to like what do expect from the o line to protect a statue what other o line has to protect a statue like o connell ill wait.

The pressure comes too quick. Guys are coming in unblocked routinely. It doesn't matter how mobile you are, rarely does he have a clean pocket. That isn't normal. Every drop back pressure comes from multiple spots. The o-line is terrible and has been for years. A mobile QB will get sacked 80 times with this line. Most mobile QB hold onto the ball too long waiting for receivers to get open. Impossible with this line. Guys are in the QB'e face before the QB hits his back foot.

Biggest 🐂💩 ever this season, because Mark Davis sold out RaiderNation and we deserved better after last season He should have fired Josh McdumbA$$. Because he could have let Antonio Pierce take over this year. Not Allowing mcdumb@$$ to get rid of Derek Carr Darren our FB and have had the 🗑 draft that they did because we all saw the signs coming After the first season, we could have had better players and he could have hired a Competent offensive coordinator we would have possibly been in the SuperBowl this year in Vegas If only Mark Davis ran the raiders like he runs the Aces And committees to being excellent Like his dad did when he was alive. He only cared about just winning baby

Wow..... Im not giving up on O.C. this O-Line is trash!!!! They can't pass off defenders? Can they even count to 5? Seriously, its why jimmy g (who has always been garbage) Looked sooooo bad this year! Doesn't matter if its Jesus Christ or Stabler at QB.......FIX the O Line is priority #1

I love how you pick your favorite plays from eagles and seahawks o lines at the same time both those teams lost unless your going to say hurts isnt that good...i dont know what your trying to say look its going to take one of the best top qbs to elevate the raiders to a playoff team every year its not going to happen with justin fields or russell wilson bo nixs jj mccarthy they got 4 qbs at the top remember they wanted to move up to get cj strout whats stopping them now this is why i know the raiders are lieing to you all, because now its here again 2024 with another chance to get any of the 4 top qbs and they wont do it the raiders are not looking to win and get to a super bowl they are settling for whatever and that to me is not looking to be the best you trade how ever many 1st rd picks you need to to get the best...and you know why the raiders dont care and will lead you all with lies because they will win the broncos game and put a lid on it for sure that they dont care about the draft for the future qb.
