Tom Brady was not a mobile quarterback. AOC is developing. There is no proof he cannot move around in the backfield enough to be effective. He won the majority of the games he played has year and was 'thrown' into the fire without proper preparation. He did a damn good job imo. He has to prove himself, yes. But, it's too early to be judging him, especially when we know quarterbacks can be effective without dynamic mobility. Look at the multitude of weapons he has to dump quick passes off to . . .

With Minshew, he is what he is, and if he was as good as all that he would not have been available. With AOC, there is a lot of development yet to happen. What we hope occurs is that a quarterback emerges that will work well within the system over a period of multiple years end of the two, AOC seems to be that guy at least to me.
As far as I’m concerned, a lot of development of these two quarterbacks will depend on the development of an effective left offensive tackle, which can protect the back of the quarterback in the pocket and which will enable a more effective, passing offense.

AOC has experience in season, with the Raiders, most of the personnel on the team, and has shown several flashes of greatness in moments throughout last preseason and to a lesser degree, but still significant, in the regular season. Minshew has shown what he can do in 4 years. He is good, but having seen how both throw the ball, AOC must have the edge over Minshew. And I love both of em, for different reasons. I would be happy with either one starting. But my critical thinking skills and power of discernment tell me AOC is winning and will most likely be the starter.

If Glaze can become a starter at guard or tackle by next year this could be important for this draft class and the future of the Raiders A weapon on offense with Bowers, two starters on the o-line and anything else would be icing on the cake. On defense we could be looking at Eichenburg, Taylor and Richardson. If one of those guys develops into a quality starter this draft could be looking like a home run and give this team a push for the playoffs next year. AOC arm is weak, he throws off speed pitches and his deep ball has too high of an arc. He doesn't have a fastball that he can drive into tight windows, when that happens he gets undercut by defensive backs on out patterns and crosses. Younger QB's need an arm, the older you get the arm loses its zip but a good QB reads defenses better anticipates better and they get by with a diminished arm. AOC is starting out with a diminished arm and wont have the time to learn the tricks, like a 10 year veteran.

I dont want them to cause wear n tear when its not even needed. Very very glad Laube is doimg good. We all expected it but its still good to get reassurance. Just rather keep him in the tuck for the future.
Ive said it over and over, i wamt AOC to win. But at the end of the day, i wamt the best QB thats gonma help us win games. But if AOC doesnt take this spot, we might as well start lookimg for the future QB in next years draft ( or the year after)

Aiden has been using his legs in camp enough to be a NFL QB.you don't have to be a running QB.gardener fumbles and doesn't take care of the ball.He needs to play within his abilities.

Mobile. Mobile. Mobile. Meh. Overrated. Need to know the play, read the defense, adjust at the line, quickly go through the progressions, make a choice and fire it down field. If it isn't there, throw it away. Know your hot reads for the blitz. The guys who can do these things are successful. Running is a bonus. If you can't master the former, being mobile isnt going to make you a winner.

What you said describes every starting QB in the NFL. But the diff between Derek Carr, Kirk Cousins and Ryan Tannehil is the ability to create.

Don’t like the idea of bowers running the ball. He might get hurt he a big guy taking him down will take the whole line falling on him possibly hurting him
