Used to love going up there but since the campsite upgrade it has got just a bit too busy. Nice clip. Great to see the dolphins in so close. Lake Indoon's water level sure goes up and down. We were there in May and it was a dry as a bone. If you camp at Indoon always check yourself for ticks.
Yeah got to agree with you. Been coming for a long time but the last few years has been really busy. We don't bother going up on school holidays, weekends or long weekends anymore. Cheers for watching!
This was COOL Mate... this spot is on the bucket list for sure.... Well done on taking Chloe camping at such a young age... Its the best thing for her in this day and age 👏👍😎
What a magic spot. Have alway driven past on the way to Sharks/Coral Bay. Might need to pay the place a visit. Love the shower set up, need something similar on my 100 series. Keep up the good work!!
Its a great spot, but it is close to Perth so it can be very busy on weekends! If you havnt already, also worth checking out the 'Little Bay' campsite in Horrocks if you're heading that way up the coast, beautiful bit of coast.
Just found this channel. Absolutely loving it. Your car looks like mine with the canopy and wheels, same brands too looks like. I live in Joondalup so il have to try camping there with the preggo wife soon. New to this 4wd stuff but loving it and the local lads channels great too. Keep up the excellent content mate
Just swapped my ss for a 08 Triton and me and the wife are looking forward to getting outdoors more. Thanks for the vid bro will quite possibly be our first trip in the truck
Top Video as usual mate. Yeah, I live on the East Coast, but carried out some civil work at the bombing range just Nth of Lancelin. You certainly never get sick of the beautiful blue water and white sand and of coarse the fresh crays. ( top shelf) Hows the camper going , are you happy with it? Love ya work guys!
Thanks mate! You're spot on, never get sick of the west coast beaches. They really are world class. Only downside is everything's a bloody long drive! The camper is going great, I was pretty nervous about buying a Chinese import. But it's really exceeded my expectations, the guys at track star have obviously learnt from others mistakes and improved on previous design. I'm confident taking it around aus on any track the car is capable of!
Looks awesome. We have an Omaroo3 also! Do you know what it's like when there is a strong southerly blowing? I was planning to head south out Warpole way but the wind is picking up from Wednesday onwards, so change of plan. Sandy Cape is looking a little better, getting better towards next weekend by the looks.
Hey mate amazing channel love it. Hey the min 14:50 mark...is that the free side of camping? I wanna scout out Sandy dont mind paying but interested in the other side.
Great video. I love the WA coast - your drone footage is excellent. Did you have any issues towing the camper along the tracks to get to your camping spot?
Nah no dramas at all. My only concern would be driving down a track or into a Camp site that isn't big enough to turn around in. But I'll either walk an unknown track first or Tiff will have a look at satellite maps as we're driving
loved it! new to 4 wheel driving in Australia, we have come over from the UK to live. a couple of questions being a novice, we live in perth and have a pajero and would love to do our first camping trip to sandy Cape. will i have to air down to get in? and do you think its a cracking place to do our first camping trip here? We are no strangers to camping :) cheers..Kev
Hey Cam, just thought i'd let you know that alot of your video's are missing from your video's page. You might be missing out on views and possibly new subscribers who aren't seeing alot of video's on your channel and may think not worth subscribing. I know i was trying to find a few of your older video's myself but couldn't see them on your video's page and had to go through your home page to find them. PS. Looking forward to a rig rundown on the dmax, have seen you mention this in a few comments. Don't wait until it's "ready" as it would be good to see it go through it's stages. Cheers.
Nice trip up there!! Just wondering if you have had issues with ticks up there? We were hammered by them last time we went ... also how old was your baby when you started to take her off roading ?
I havnt had issues with ticks in sandy cape. But im pretty careful nowadays, especially if im milling around in the bush looking for somewhere to go to the toilet. Little buggers hang on to the ends of the bushes waiting for you to brush past. We started taking our daughter camping when she was 10 weeks old - hasnt always been easy (and sometimes not even enjoyable), but they adapt pretty quick, and she loves it! We do still struggle to keep her entertained on long drives though.
Thanks mate, that one was from ebay. Just search 'baby bed rail'. I'm using a more compact one now from kmart; www.kmart.com.au/product/folding-bed-rail/1403801
Great vid mate, hard to find a better sunset than at sandy cape!
Just watched a heap of Wild Touring videos while laid up with a bung shoulder. Nice to see what our kids are up to. (The old Grey nomads.)

Cheers Don. Get out there and have a look mate. It's a ripper spot. Can get busy on weekends though!
Just swapped my ss for a 08 Triton and me and the wife are looking forward to getting outdoors more. Thanks for the vid bro will quite possibly be our first trip in the truck

Probably pretty windy still! Some of the designated bays back from the beach might be a bit more protected than the beach front.
awesome !
3:05 Coles sells those oil sprayers.
Different brand but same thing.
Cheers Joe. Good to know! Bit cheaper than the one I bought too.
Hi mate, great channel! Wondering if you could share the spot where you set up camp?
It's not listed, just head south along the coastal 4x4 tracks south of the sandy cape camp area. There's heaps of nice Camp sites along there.
I was at that lake a year ago mate and it was dry as a bone!
So I've heard! Must be all the rain we've had this year, got to be a good thing!
Awesome 😉
Hey mate amazing channel love it. Hey the min 14:50 mark...is that the free side of camping? I wanna scout out Sandy dont mind paying but interested in the other side.
Cheers mate. Yeah it's south of the official campsite, along the tracks heading back towards Jurien.
Great video. I love the WA coast - your drone footage is excellent. Did you have any issues towing the camper along the tracks to get to your camping spot?

Classic limp 🍪🙌🏻
Haha good pick up 😂
Hey Cam, I know this is a old video but do you think you could get a 21 ft caravan to that spot?
loved it!

Thanks for letting me know. I'll have to look into that!
I'm starting to get stuff together for the rig rundown, it's coming!
@@WildTouring Dmax is on the cards for me so looking forward to it! Great setup up with the canopy anyway. Keep them coming!

Thanks mate, that one was from ebay. Just search 'baby bed rail'.

Can you advise what was the camp you ended up at by chance, North Head?
Haha you seen a Kangaroo donga!!
What was the traffic like camping on the main track there?
Hahaha. No one passed us the first day. Couple of cars the second day. Most of the traffic was driving along the track behind the dunes.
Subscribed..... :)
🔥 tip. Open palm slap the water knee deep, the dolphins will come right up to you, providing no movement behind you,
