Gene and I traveled from Fort Smith Arkansas to tupelo Mississippi together to get to his son (Cary Simmons) wedding back in 1985 or so. It was a road trip full of adventure i will never forget.
Wow! First time I've ever seen a live performance of this song by Jumpin Gene Simmons! This is why I LOVE RUclips and all the great users who contribute videos, playlists, comments, etc!
the legend himself... Lots of new born people won't know, realize, or understand what this man means.... thank you for posting this. Thank you for keeping this alive as of now. This man is an Icon.
I met the late Gene Simmons while known as the little drummer boy with the Billy Mauldin Band. And also later at Statue Recording owned by the late "Homer" Ray Harris, in Tupelo. The crowd would always demand to hear Haunted House, when he dropped by on the weekend. Gene played the Hill Top on Wednesdays.
Another thing I found out was that there was a 1960s psychadelic acid rock band and their name was......Kiss. There was Jumpin' Gene Simmons before Gene Simmons and there was also Kiss before KISS.

Though there was also a Jean Simmons who had major roles in HAMLET, ELMER GANTRY and SPARTACUS amongst many others before Jumpin' Gene Simmons.

Looks like the great Stan Kesler on bass. He wrote a couple of Elvis' Sun recordings.

i did not know he died and the only song i ever heard him do is haunted house
I knowed Gene he was one of the guys.
Well one of you is lying since he claims he doesn't drink and has never been drunk.
What? I don’t see anyone mentioning that topic.
Left nothing financially for his family. Built his life on the back stabbing of the music industry.
