Once again another great video the AEA RIFLES ARE VERY POWERFUL I'M A FAN OF 357 MODELS I ALWAYS LIKED THE 35 CALIBER . BUT THAT 45 CALIBER WOW WHAT POWER AWESOME RIFLE I'LL TRY THE 35 CALIBER OUT ONE DAY ONCE AGAIN AWESOME VIDEO
I have this same rifle, it shoots well but I’ve had a lot of problems trying to go above 200 bar on the reg. As soon as I went up to 215 the reg starts creeping up to 250 bar which is maxed out. Rifle was still under warranty so they sent me a new reg core and it did the exact same thing. Now this might not be an issue on all elites but it turns out that the regulator Belleville washers are stacked in a way that can only handle 200 bar. I had to reorient them to make them hold more pressure and like magic I’m at 220 bar and no more creep. I’m shooting 352 grain slugs that I’m casting myself that shoot quite well out to 200 yards. That’s all the space I have so haven’t been able to shoot any further yet. Other than the regulator issue and a bad nanometer the gun has been great. I’ve probably shot 1000 rounds through it and most were trying to fix the reg. It was a steep learning curve and basically zero information on this gun or setup on the internet so I watched a lot of videos just trying to understand the basic functions of a regulator. My one thing that I dislike is how freaking heavy this thing is. Hard to stalk deer with a boat anchor, haha.
Very good information. I have this rifle in 357 cal and I noticed that when I had the reg above 200 bar, the accuracy fell off a lot. I've believe the rifle shoots best with the reg between 190 and 200 bar.
They don't leak. But the Elites use a lot of air. What 357 rifles are you looking at? I just started selling the New AEA Challenger Pros and other models on my website. My new rifles come free with the tactical rails I use the video.
@backyardairguns I'm thinking either the long barrel Pro or the elite aea that's why I asked if they leak out there because I've got two gauntlets 30 calibers been having problems keeping air in them!!!
NICE !!! That’s more fps than the average.45 ACP (abt 850) and almost 100 ft lbs more thump. I’m still leaning towards the .357. Did you say you sell those rails for it?
Both are great rifles, both accurate and crazy powerful. I have my tac rails on both the 357 and 457. I do sell those on my website at www.backyardairguns.com. Please email if you have any question (mike@backyardairguns.com).
Look on my website to see what I have in stock (www.backyardairguns.com). I know I have really great barrel bands for Challenger Pro, Challenger Elites, S45, etc. If I don't have it, I can usually make it.
WELL YOUR FIRST PROBLEM IS YOU'RE PLAYING GAMES WITH TOO MANY DIFFERENT PELLET COMPANIES JUST PICK ONE GOOD ONE TO STICK TO IT YOU DON'T NEED ALL THESE DIFFERENT PILLS TO BE GOING THROUGH THE GUN..... FOR INSTANCE IN MY BEHALF FX AS PERFECTLY FINE AMMO IT'S BEEN ACCURATE IT'S BEEN CONSISTENT SO THAT'S WHAT I BUY FOR MY 30 CALIBER... I DON'T NEED TO SHOP AROUND I DON'T NEED TO FIND ANOTHER COMPANY I'M CONTENT WITH JUST THAT COMPANY
For me, one of the great things about air guns is ammo is cheap. And part of the fun is trying different pellets and slugs in different rifles. It's fun to experiment with different ammo. I have my favorites like you, but i still branch out. Thanks for watching and being a fan. :-)
You hunt dinosaurs with this cannon😂 !! Real, scary power, excellent presentation mate👌👍
I hunt dinosaurs and zombies with this rifle! :-)
@backyardairguns 😂😂👍

Excellent video as always I'm a 357 man myself thinking about picking up a couple of them!! 😉 How do they do with holding air????
