I have 4 diy subs, minidsp 2x4 hd, multiQEX and magic beans. I used minidsp 2x4hd to level all my 4 subs, next I ran magic beans with multiQEX. My theater sounded so good and well balanced.

As a MultEQ-X user a miniDSP 2X4HD is a must have if you have multiple subs. In my case I have 4 subs EQ'ed and playing as one. MB is the cherry on top. Speakers and subs sound well balanced and the system sounds awesome.
