Thanks for the review Leon and update!! New mix looks good, similar what I try to do with my own mix of different grasses, I also add a pinch of sand for an earth-like, small rock effect. I like the new mix rather than the old version. be well!
@@leont66wargaming31 I was going to place an order for some stuff for my 28mm. I''ll wait now and hopefully get both in the future! They need to give you a referral cope or affiliate link
Hi! I wanted to ask if you've played with these. I was collecting 28mm acw but this seems a lot better for the price to get big armies. I wanna know if playing with them is just as fun :) also, Im a little scared of the smaller scale since I dont have the most steady hands.
Hi Sebastian. Definitely just as much fun. I have a battle report using the Napoleonic miniatures in this scale. I actually find them quicker and easier to paint as opposed to 28mm. I have a painting guide for Union and confederate infantry
I think it looks better without the big stones, though the new stuff looks a bit more yellow (to my eyes) than the old stuff with stones. Either way, I do like the texture they give.
Yes I did mention it needed a bit more Green flock in it to Wayne and he said he’s going to add more in. Plus could be partly the phone camera. Doesn’t look quite so yellow in real life. More like a bleached bone colour
Feedback taken and I've upped the static content around 30%. Any more and it was starting to look a bit too green and more like static with a bit of sand thrown in there.
Very nice bases I'm liking the new stuff, great figures
Thanks Justin
That’s great Leon. I love this stuff too but it didn’t quite work for me on the smaller figures. Now it does! 🙂
Yeah definitely mate. I’ll be getting some more.
looks good yes it's a simple and easy way to base and convenient
Yep I’m impressed with it. Saves sifting out all the bigger stones from the old one
Cool stuff. I've followed your basing method a few vids back.
Thanks Nik. Glad it was helpful mate
That mix looks good Leon, last one i got made the bases look like Stalingrad amount of huge stones i had to re base everything, nice update mate
Thanks mate, yeah I’m sold on it.
works a treat bases look perfect
Thanks buddy
I am still working my way through my 1st bag 😂😂😂 thanks for sharing
😆🤣
It does go a long way

Thanks Bruce. Yes definitely better for this scale
Nice stuff chap. Basing really brings the figures to life.
Thanks mate. I think spending a bit of extra time on basing is always worth the extra effort
Looking good mate 👍
Who me… 😆
Thanks buddy 😊👍🏻
Oh this is cool I love the base ready I will have to get some
Much more to scale for smaller miniature armies.
@@leont66wargaming31 I will wait till it’s out and do a restock and pick up the new stuff saves me sifting lol
Looks a good product
Yeah it’s very useful
These do look a lot better for smaller scales 😁👍
Yes definitely mate. I’ll definitely be getting more.
Maybe try out some different ones
😊👍🏻
Beautiful units, superb bases!
Thanks Phil
I use geek gaming suff all the time so will defo pick this up next time I do some 15mm. Cheers Leon.
Thanks buddy
ill probably pick this up for my 28mm stuff, i liked the previous stuff but thought it was too chunky
Yeah why not, I’ll probably use both, just use the old stuff a bit more selectively
Awesome vid as always! Can't wait to get my hands on this, will be very useful for numerous projects! Any idea when it's coming out?
Hi Ben, I’m not 100% sure but sometime in the next 2-3 weeks I think

They are looking great mate! I posted another comment but in the wrong place so it came out as a reply😁🙄
😆no worries Kieth. I saw it.
This stuff will be a much better match for smaller scale minis.

So is this stuff basically just glued to the base?
Yep pretty much. Just PVA glue. If you miss any bits just go over with glue again and sprinkle on more base ready
I can’t find the new mix in their website yet
Sorry I should of said, they’re not available yet. I’ve updated the title.
Mmm triple chocolate ice cream eh Leon 😂. Thanks for a very helpful review mate.Looks like this will be perfect for my 10mm and proposed 6mm project.
@theenigmaticgamer I’ll probably get a copy write claim for product placement lol.
Yes it’ll be great for those projects mate.
@@leont66wargaming31 thanks! This is perfect for my epic armies, looking forward to it
PLEASE speak up!!
