- Join us as we visit Blackpool Pleasure Beach for our final visit of the 2019 season! In this vlog we share footage from the parks Vampire Beach Halloween event that features theming throughout the park along with extra entertainment. Along with that we share footage of some of our favourite rides at the park in the dark and much more.
In this video we also check out all of the theming across the park for Journey To Hell Freak Nights, a new scare event at Blackpool Pleasure Beach. At the end of this vlog we share our full thoughts on the event along with feedback on where we think it could be improved in the future. We look forward to next season and returning to the park for the opening day in February 2020!

Yeah I've been going to this park for years definitely my favourite theme park of all time, back in the day the pepsi max big one and Iron brew revolution, mouse trap and the monorail, plus the Big Dipper with the Red trains. Sad to hear about that first halloween event, Hopefully next year it's allot better plus less windy too with the Big one

Great vlog Shawn and Charlotte. As a Blackpool local I thought that the Freak Night hadn't really worked as no-one here is talking about it. Icon seems to be riding better and better this season and Grand National does seem to have been smoothed out after last season's pretty rough rides. It is also great to see that Ocean Boulevard is being fully repainted in the new Blackpool colour range. Worth a look ;) As to the Boulevard Hotel, I am not a fan but what I will say is by the entrance at the back (?) they have an outside seating zone right under the Big One and you get a fantastic view of one of the descents and then the train rears up over your head. Brilliant spot... Instagramer's dream. Thanks for all the vlogs and see you next season :)

The fact that the connoisseur of theme parks has said pleasure beach is the best in england makes me proud of my town

Sounds like I dodged a bullet not going to the Halloween event and stuck with alton towers scarefest, though I'm hoping it all gets sorted for next year after lessons learned as it has huge potential.
I went there on Saturday and me and my friend got stuck at the top of the grand nationals lift hill
I was there and saw that happening they did not want you to get down because of the slippery steps.

On the back is mad I rode it about 6-7 times some on front some on back I think 2 on front on the last Saturday.
Man I miss icon Didn’t get the chance to ride it this year but it looks awesome all lit up

finally catching this Vlog. Attending the park that weekend, it was a big 'uh-oh' moment watching the intro mentions for 'Journey to Hell', 'The Big One' and 'Fireworks' knowing how the day pans out.Thankfully I managed to get on Pepsi max before they closed it

I have been watching other vids about Journey to Hell Freak Nights. They all pretty much are the same in that the opening night was completely awful, but the nights afterwards were much much improved.

Honestly this park even through the video gives such a nice vibe💕 but it sucks at how bad the event rly was.
Went on Valhalla nearly 50 times this season, out of all those rides I only saw more than 1 fire blast working on 1 ride. It really needs some work this winter I agree 👍

Stupid question but do you ever go on trips abroad or in the UK that don’t involve theme parks? And if you have kids will they be going to theme parks for all their holidays?

Thanks both 4being honest and detailed review I heard it was bad as well I hope you did have a good word with the staff and park and fired off your email I watched airtime John's review first before yours . Said it was rushed the event was comical not scary as much the only thing was good was the night ride blindfolded on icon if you got it and the puzzle maze and the undercroft . Hope it's better next year to think about renewing my pass
Blackpool Pleasure Beach just radiates happiness, and for that reason, I don't think it's well suited to a Halloween scare event
