Literally stood next to you walking past the grand prix ride after the fireworks finished but didn't say hello as you were finishing the video and some kids started interrupting you. I love your pleasure beach vids.

I'm planning on going down in late March. On the condition that Valhalla is fully operational.
There’s something timeless about the way the Alice In Wonderland music carries on the air. Probably my first Blackpool memory and my favourite.
Btw - the werewolf is amazing! A great piece of theatre!
It's so charming isn't it? Much of the park feels that way to me. Has a very timeless and joyful old fashioned amusement park feel to it especially around those older attractions: Alice, Derby Racers (I adore the organ music in there), Flying Machines, Steeplechase and all the old woodies of course 🥰
It hasn’t lost its charm that’s for sure.
It’s such a beautiful soundtrack
There's something timeless about 4 very large adults breaking the grey car on that ride the following morning! :D
Hey, wasn't our fault, it was the female staff member, after she agreed that our group of 6 should go in 2 cars with 3 each, then changed her mind!!!
Yea the Alice ride was broken for around an hour because of us on Sunday morning!
My partner and I ran into you both in Nick land, I was the girl also called Charlotte in the wheelchair with the Halloween t-shirt on! 😊🎃 it was so nice to meet you both! Your videos have kept me company through some really difficult times with my health. When I'm sad about missing out on fun things, your videos always keep my spirits up and make me feel like I'm right there with you. Thank you for everything you both do here 🙂🧡

Those fireworks were awesome, I'm a pyro guy and there were some I've never seen.
I think the sky choreography was really special and you had no trouble filming it, that's awesome.

Such an awesome night honestly, the fireworks were on another level, 😂 loved all the entertainment on offer, the guitarist banging his head all night and I managed to upload a video of someone dancing with the werewolf 😂 crazy fun time and such a brilliant atmosphere with everyone having a good time. Loving the costume once again and it was brilliant to meet you outside the big one

Fantastic day 😁 fireworks were amazing and got proposed to on ICON 💍 where better then in Blackpool on our fave coaster... just glad we didn't loose the ring on the launch 😆 loved the vlog great to look back on the day!

I saw the firework display in the pleasure Beach when i was their over the weekend
Saw them putting them supports up on Valhalla a few weeks ago. Not a fan either. One of the ride operators on the Big Dipper told us he had been inside and was helping with work on the build during the week. Said it looked very special and it would be opening soon....I still think 2023

I was there last week for a day of walk ons. Great purchase with the Ice blast restraint, will look great mounted on a wall in the World of Theme Parks.

As predicted the visit to Alton Towers was very disappointing. The new maze was embarrassingly bad. Whoever approved it should be given their marching orders, as the scariest thing about it was the fact I paid for the experience.

We were in that Enso queue. Have to say it was poor organisation from BPB over selling tickets for it and forcing people to double up towards the end. I felt sorry for the staff in there. Highly stressful for them…

Valhalla situation is a farce
Bad on pleasure beach not forthcoming with updates etc.. Been this long and still no one has a clue if it will actually even be ready for next season. I've waited to hear an update to go this season and none, now I'll just wait till next year to go again and I'm sure I won't be the only one that's doing this....

I love the look of that park. If I'm being honest though, it looks more like an ideal summer time park in terms of the look and feel of it. I'm really hoping I can make it out there from the U.S. in the near future. You mentioned The Big One will be the tallest roller coaster in England for only awhile more, is there a new ride being built or that is in the works that will be taller? Will you have update videos on this project?
I think there is a coaster going up at Thorpe Park which will crack the height.
Hopefully you can visit soon! Thorpe Park will be topping it with a new hypercoaster in 2024!

Great vlog as always 👍. Pleasure Beach was looking great. I was planning on going on Saturday, but i caught man-flu ☹️. The way you keep videos and vlogs coming day-in day-out with such enthusiasm is amazing. I need to sleep for a week after just one late night riding.

Some very hefty queues on Saturday though.
The boarding on the Valhalla turn around is a temp measure through out the winter months to keep the weather out !

I did notice you guys just as you were about to go to Express as I heard you vlogging by my side. I wanted to say Hi as Im a huge fan (ive said before I consider you doing something far better for coaster fans than I ever did when I was young), but I was too worried I'd interupt your vlog! The highlight/lowlight of our visit was we witnessed, to my kids utter horror, a seagul eat an entire duckling in one quick glup.

Hey Shawn and Charlotte, just thought I’d let you guys know from Southport that a Large crane and equipment now seem to be on the site for where the new Thunderbolt coaster is going to be along with the “rollercoaster” now being fully dismantled and removed from the site. Just a heads up ! 🙃

No , it is very much open and is doing very well and is slowly coming back to its former glory before it was ripped apart by the Thompson family in 2006/07
@@ryanbrookfield7111 thanks Ryan, I never knew. I heard that the Thompson family had pulled out and that the park was closed. Little did I realise that it had reopened again. I have been looking at the website and there’s loads of gaps on the ride page so it looks as though there’s very little to cater for the over 8s.
@@bunkerboy02 yeah that’s right, this new coaster though will be the first addition more suited to the adult market. See Shawna earlier video in the year discussing the ride. They have one in Coney Island I think it was. Has a vertical lift hill :)

Said it before, not been here for 20 years! Miss it so much as my parks growing up (even though I'm from and in Joiners Square, Stoke) were Blackpool and Morecambe Frontierland as we spent a lot of time up my Nans in Cumbria xxx

I like Blackpool this time of year for the memories of my visit three years ago. It's my favourite amusement park in the U.K.BTW it sounds like you @ 16:43- but your voice sounds too far away for it to be you if your holding the camera. Who do you think it was? Also like seeing Charlotte rock to the title track of the best metal album of all time: Master of Puppets by Metallica preformed by a live band. Thanks for posting!

Loved the video, considering either going here next year or Alton Towers Resort for short break away? As went to Southend On Sea via Adventure Island a few weeks ago with my friend Ziggy Autistic, who has his own RUclips channel. Went on a lot of rides, attractions and some of the coasters there. Even shot some POV's from our experience, which will be uploaded in future. But another good vlog from this one, was thinking for a future coaster. Would do you think a RMC Coaster fit somewhere in this park? If so? Or not? Where would it go or what ride would be removed to make space for one to be added? Because there are other theme park & coaster enthusiasts who have visited in the past who have suggested about getting rid of Grand National & retracking it as RMC Hybrid Coaster. Which in my opinion would take the history away from the park, which is why I am against that RMC Hybrid Coaster idea. I think if one was built, should in my opinion go at edge of park, really themed up and immersive theming with it. Love the look of Icon, has this coaster got three inversions on it? Would it be good 100% coaster starter for people like myself to get over upside town elements? Because if so? Might consider this giving it a trial if visiting? Anyways, cheers for video, hope to see Valhalla open again in future a.k.a start of 2023. Not sure if you know, but Southend for last 5 weeks have been hosting their own fireworks show. If haven't already done that this year? Could be worth a visit or next year? By the way, for video cheers. 😀👍

I can’t wait for Valhalla to reopen too it’s my favourite ride as well maybe the bit where it’s covered they put the rock style of stuff their as well as they may have something their playing on the inside or maybe put a screen on the outside and we can watch the boats go round with people on :). I hope Valhalla will open next year one year me and my family had a hole boat to ourselves and we ended up going on 5 times in a row queued up 3 times and then the guy who got the water out asked or we getting off or would you like to go back round and we all went back around please we did that 2 times and by the 5th time we were like we best get off the queue is building up 😂 the staff was lovely that day tho with us as they seen us all running to queue up after our first and nd 2nd and 3rd time then the person who scanned our bands was like you all back again 😂 I was like yeah and we coming back on after this one too so I was guessing they talked and said just leave them on 😂.

Really quite surprised they’ve not opened Valhalla yet. I went to buy something a fair few months ago and they were testing it ‘cause I could hear it going round with it been before it opened and the guy said they’re testing it now n should hopefully have it open this year. Also wasn’t really interested in much else as I was that excited of getting my purchase n didn’t think anything of it when he said “I’ll have to put the shutter down ‘cause people will go nuts if they see these” wasn’t until a fair few hours later I realised what I’d been sat on and clicked about what he said.

Hi saw you at Drayton for apocalypse final operating day, do you think infusion will be receiving a full retrack and new trains soon to make it much smoother
Blooming hope so. Have had 3 rides on it this year in april, august & on saturday, in april it didn't feel too bad to me but the other times it felt much worse. Saturday was by far the worst ride I've had on it. It's such a shame cause I find the layout fun and it's my favourite theme park.
@@duskh4ze If you want a smoother version of this ride go to energylandia as Rollercoaster Mayan is a lot better as you can actually enjoy the forces or try one of the custom layout ones with Odyssey or Kumali
@@joecandish3923 Really been hoping to make a trip out to Energylandia for a couple of days next year so I will def bare that in mind, thank you. Flamingo Land is gonna be a definite day trip at least so I'll get to ride Kumali. Not been there in nearby 20 years so lots of new stuff to check out 🙂
