всегда хотел побывать на этой выставке - класно когда обычным людям дают возможность просто прийти на такую большую выставку и проявить себя.....да и подзаработать.....ценники кстати очень добрые - примерно 7 000р за шикарную детализированную фигурину это вполне хорошая цена...за такую то детализацию и любовь к своему делу :)

I began collecting GUNPLA/GUNDAM figures since september 2021 as a hobby lately.
Cons have really changed in Japan. I remember when I was there for one, you could only film and take photos in very specific places! (Like you said in the description!)

The yuru-camp figures around 05:40 (laid back camp, Nadesiko and Rin) are cute as hell, but I'm not really fan of this kind of miniatures. But the level of these products is really incredible. The pose, the paint, the details. Interesting, this wonder festival. @Rambalac you hear about another model show or hobby event soon?

I was at Summer WonFes 2018 - hope to be there again next time. It still looks a bit empty . Hopefully it will go back to normal. Can't wait to see what kind of figures are "bleeding edge" next time :D

I was going to attend the next one in February since it's the only convention going on during my Japan Trip, but this one of the saddest cons I've ever seen.

Correct me if I'm wrong but the small cat @30:07 is 4000 yen? I don't know much about figurines and collectibles, can someone enlighten me why are they so expensive?
Because it's hand made.
Not all collectibles are produced in high volumes. With relatively low volume production runs, not much benefit can be derived from economies of scale, so the per-unit cost is higher. Small companies and individual artists often showcase their work at these kinds of collectibles exhibitions. These smaller entities can't afford high volume production runs so their products tend to be more expensive.
Google tells me that is around 35 bucks. That seems about right for a figurine like that. Is it ceramic. I know some people here who make ceramic figurines (not that style) and sell them at craft fairs. They go for around that.
