There are bus tours of the local areas you can go on. They start from Narita airport. Check them out. Whether Japan opens up fully soon will depend on the COVID-19 numbers

I'm sorry I don't have such information. Our government keeps changing the rule and this website says that foreign passengers doing a short layover are not allowed to enter Japan. For this reason, this is my guess though, you won't probably need to do a PCR test but please make sure with your travel agency for accurate information. Thank you for the nice tour. However, BEWARE: YOU CANNOT STAY AT NARITA AIRPORT OVERNIGHT!. I'm trying to get money back for tickets that transit Narita over 2 calendar dates - landing July 1st, departing July 2nd. It appears many people are being denied boarding at the country of origin. I feel quite foolish buying these tickets, but I can't believe Japan Airlines authorises their sale.
15yrs ago I was at this airport and had to rent a locker but none left. So I had 2 pay 20 bucks for holding luggage service. What a rip off. Never want to travel thru Japan again.

Check around 2:02. That's the shuttle bus's bus stop.
What would you do with a 9hr layover in NRT? Do you think Japan will be open in September for tourists? 😅

Yes, my video is Dolby Vision. I follow the instruction that Apple offer and Dolby Vision 8.4 meta data is included in my videos.

Check this timestamp at 11:04 & 14:30 . Can you see the sign "Narita Airport Buses" in the back in yellow? You can get the tickets there.
For example your family will take you to the airport. Are they allowed to enter narita terminal 2 departure even if they are not passenger?
Your family can go to the Departure floor but not beyond the security check point.

Yes, in the beginning did you see yellow buses at the bus stop 18 and 8? They are running between T1 & T2 and T3 too.
