  • On May 29th, I decided to chase Amtrak's Cardinal into West Virginia. I started at the C&O cantilever signal in Russell, KY, then caught it in Handley, WV, and then finally at Stretchers Neck Tunnel outside Prince. After that I spent the afternoon in Thurmond, catching several CSX freights before heading up to the Concho Rim Overlook for the westbound Cardinal counterpart. Enjoy!

Funny enough, my wife and I rode the Cardinal back from DC into Huntington on the 29th. Great shots!
