Robert Irvine lied about his resume and was replaced with Michael Symon for a season. Irvine claimed he was knighted, chef to Prince Charles, and cooked for four US presidents. All were untrue. How awkward.
Irvine may have over-embellished his culinary accomplishments, but there is no denying the man is a talented chef and can handle pressures that most of us would crack under. That said, he did apologize to FN over his lies, and he was brought back to the show.
2:56-3:35 The Keith vs Elda "struggle" was hilarious. I felt so bad for him in that episode, especially since Elda kept smirking because she got what she wanted. I was glad she lost though. But 8:24-8:37 was savage and I loved it. This is why chopped is my favorite series produced by the food network.
Keith Young was a widowed New York City Fire Fighter with three children. He cooked for his department. In 2017 Keith had invented and began to market a better kitchen cutting board called The Cutboard Pro. He produced a demonstration video to help launch his product. He also wrote The Firehouse Cookbook. Keith auditioned for and then was selected to appear on Shark Tank. Unfortunately Keith passed away in March 2018 from cancer because of participating in the 9/11 clean up.. So his kids decided to pick up the torch and appear on the show to make his wish cone true. The three kids, Kaley, 24, Christian, 20, and Keira, 15, managed to get a deal with all 5 Sharks to get things rolling with the cutting board. Williams Sonoma is the primary retailer for the board. The kids have received a tremendous outpouring of sympathy and support for what they're doing.
Geoffrey has no room to judge. Zacharian is so pretentious and full of himself yet on Chopped After Hours he constantly breaks the rules. I thought the point of the show was for the judges to prove that it is possible to use all the basket ingredients within the time frame. Clearly Geoffrey cannot despite knowing the ingredients ahead of time and has time to plan. This shows he is a failure as a judge and chef.
Robert Irvine apparently lied on his resume about multiple things. And I never liked Giada. Flat has a massive ego. And Zacharian got all offended one episode because Scott Conant did not agree with him about one of the Chopped dishes. So yeah, it seems all these people are as flawed as the test of humanity. And utilizing them is a massive waste of time! IMHO.
I remember episode of The Next Food Network Star when Adam Gertler "tripped" on the boat door in front of the judges. He thought it was on purpose to get people attention. Also Lenny's belly flop on Food Network Star too. He said to people if I win; I will perform a belly flop. He did and eventually he never got a show. His past was discovered with insults and slurs toward other Food Network personalities. Food Network Star seems to be cancelled for good since 2018. The "winners" of the show never really got their show on the Network.
What's your all-time favorite Food Network show?
What about that guy who he's mommy called him a winner
Guy's Grocery Games !!
Wall of Chefs is also iconic i love it so much
Guy’s chance of a lifetime was excellent and ended too fast

Those so-called celebrities think they’re so important. No! Over bloated egos.
You can't disrespect people and expect to keep your star status.

Food network sucks
It irritates me that he eats the food with chopsticks.
2:05 girls eyes are messed up!! LOL "which way did he go George? which way did he go?" LOL
It's all fake thats why they start a fight that giant chef

Please let's get more Food Channel Videos.
Thriving under new owner's so the show wasn't a success 🤣
The kid that gave the finger to Robert must be a big legend amongst his friends love it
Why did that boy give Chef Rob Irvine the finger?
Irving get rid of him. He is a liar. And picks on people.
What episode of restaurant impossible was it where some boy flipped chef Irvine off 😳? Although surely Irvine didn't like getting the finger.

Awesome video! Very fun! Thanks Mashed!
I really don't think Irvine is a good chef and far, far away from Ramsay. My opinion only.
I dont agree but it is your opinion as mine I'd mine
This is you saying all this...i didn't hear one person say shit.
Ramsay's a Scottish guy..not British!
Scotland is part of Britain.
Ramsay is a bad cook
I can’t stand Bobby Flay, Robert Erving, Giada or Scott C. These chefs have horrible attitudes and personalities.
you do know that Gordon Ramsay is Scottish…right?
Scotland is in Britain. Therefore he is both Scottish and British
You know that Scotland, England and Wales are all in Britain… Right? Add Northern Ireland and that’s the U.K.

It’s Hanna Hart, not Tana
Used to watch food Network don't watch anymore because of the changes
Same here. I used to watch as a kid because I found the step by step cooking instruction to be interesting. Now everything is a competition.
Ramsey is not British, he's Scottish.....
América needs you Mashed 😘
1:03 he can flip but can't fight he so scrawny I would have throw in the compactor.
Awesome I am first too comment 😬

*wHAt KiNd oF SoRcerY is diS?*
I think Zacharian is a fake iron chef as he loses too much
