This game has an awesome selection of cars especially in the JDM category. And those graphics look freaking awesome for the psx, I love those car models.
I wish they could have brought some of the cars from Touge Max 2 into this game, that's actually a good idea for a hack of this game, best of both worlds.

It's weird seeing WRC Corolla without livery.
I find it cute tho
That's the best part about it, lol.
It reminds me of those race cars without the racing livery in Need for speed, there is a satisfying charm about them.
I forgot to mention if there's game called C3 (Car Construction Championship) has livery-less WRC Corolla, but the car has only one color (Red)

I know there's a Japanese site that lists how to unlock the extra cars. I know there are three to be unlocked via Story Mode (completing all the branches), eight from Time Attack (assuming you completed the story mode once), and the rest in King Battle and Gymkhana. 100% completion will give you the RX-Z. Some of these unlockable cars are not selectable in the Story Mode though.
Great to see the tuned Toyota Starlet appearing again in three Touge Max games. The bikes are an interesting touch, so does the Gymkhana Special. The Tractor is a nice nod; it's an oddball in vein of any Touge Max 2 extra cars, but at the same time it's a normal thing to be driven (in contrast to Max 2's outlandish cars. Robot, Minecart, and Tank, anyone?).
Don't forget about the sheep and dolly!
There is also a button input to unlock every car.

There's actually a button combination that you can enter on the title screen, and all cars and tracks will be unlocked.

These codes are required to input at the title screen. Make sure the combination codes you press requires to have the "gacha" sound. And the codes requires to input in ascending order in order to make it work. Each key you press requires to have that sound, if didn't have that sound. Input it again until the sound played

Devs who made choroQ was Tamsoft for 1-3 and e-games for 4.
Also, Atlus is the publisher for this game. Cave is the developer.
