One of the things about Sifan is that not only is she very well trained, but she also knows (and her handlers-coach, etc) the specific training philosophy and applied methodology. Then there is the biggest factor that she seems to understand and apply is the concept of PEAKING! The athlete has to be fully ready at the exact time and at the right moment. Very few athletes (top-level) and coaches understand and apply this concept. This was fully understood and applied by Rolf Haikkola, the coach of Lasse Viren (Olympic medalist in the 5000 and 10.000-1972 & 1976)
I love listening to Sifan. She is the most versatile runner. Imagine being in the top handful of runners in the world in every distance from the 1,500 through the marathon.
Sifan should decide either to still run on track or upgrade to road race once and for good. Mixing track and road simultaneously is gonna cost her badly
Congratulations Sifan Hassan 🎉🎉🎉🥳🥳👍👍🎉
