Dark Souls 1 is great, DS3 is amazing, Demon Souls is good and of course Bloodborne. Bloodborne is mind blowing. Its a masterpiece, and the DLC is bonkers. Simply put: YOU HAVE TO PLAY BLOODBORNE.
My main concern about the previous LotF was how the weird the movements are. The way you practically glide when make an attack and the lack of weight in each attacks feels really wierd.
Can’t wait for this. It’s been a year or so following the game and it’s Easily going to sap 100 hrs of my life if it is as good as it’s looking. Cheers!
Eyyyy the original Lords of the Fallen was actually my first "souls-like" game. Bought it to prepare for my actual first Souls game, Bloodborne. It was quite short but still enjoyed it. Let's hope this one delivers!
The first one was pretty good. Most people didn't play it but I thought it was the closest thing to DS any other dev had came to capturing that same feeling.
Yep, and the DLC which the boss with bookshelfs is annoying to kill without a guide but the area's mechanism is so original and make those small area needed hours to complete. ❤

Most anticipated game on the horizon. So far everything seems perfect: Character Customization, 60+ hour game, Quick & Easy Co-op, Light/Dark world, Creepy Bosses, Cool Combat (at least from those that have seen it), Interesting 'Bonfire' Mechanics and of course Amazing Graphics.
Why is the 'original trailer' at the end using Bloodborne OST music? Surely they didn't use that in the trailer 😮 I checked, they didn't so I presume this is a copyright issue.
This looks like cross between DS3 and The Witcher. The areas remind me of the profaned capital, and I also am getting some Middle Earth Shadow of War vibes.
There are lots of great looking games... for this genre, the only think that I really care about is: COMBAT. If you don't get combat figured out, then the rest of the stuff doesn't matter to me.
Steel Rising and Mortal Shell are the only other "souls-likes" that were actually almost as fun as fromsoftware titles. I had huuuuge hopes for Bleak Faith but I can't even get that game to play without skipping and glitching. So I'm hoping this and Lies of P and Wu Chang are even better then MS and SR
I hate to say this because it was objectively an amazing game without a doubt. But Elden Ring wasnt as hard as I would have liked, and i feel like it made a whole bunch of new souls fans, who never had a souls experience. Anyone coming at me to say elden ring was hard, must not have played dark souls 1 when it came out lol, with no guides, no help, no in game explanations of fuck all. I spent over a month of daily tries trying to beat ornstein and smaug, assuming this HAS to be the last boss given how tough it was (didnt know about summoning help either), only to find it wasnt even halfway done. It just git better and better, harder and harder. Such an amazing experience that you just dobt get from elden ring. The feeling of constant secrets, shortcuts, no load screens which at the time was amazing. It was just a huge interconnected world that was so daunting, confusing, and mazelike and every turn was just another thing that could kill you as you inch down that next dark hallway with your shield up for the next inevitable jump scare. Elden Ring had amazing moments and was an all around amazing game that you COULD make harder, but it wasnt hard by nature. Dark souls is all about:fuck you, figure it out. With the best feelings I have ever had in any video game. It became analogous to life for me. Dont be afraid to fail, just make sure you learn somethibg new every time (and no bonfires or rest points near bosses so you had to fight your way there too. No fast travel for the first half of the game) So for all these new "souls fans" im not lovibg having discussions with bandwagon jumpers because of ER, who are the SAME people who called DS 1-3 stupid, likely because they couldnt figure out what made it so good (irl i know a LOT of them).
Is it a good guess that the onxy lord in the jail was the one that taught rohdan gravity? I kmow it was in cealid but why else would one be in a prison tho.
Yes visually it's nice, so was the first game for the time, but the snippets of gameplay we see I still notice very clunky animations which made me skip the original entirely. I'm going to have to wait and see how combat looks in the actual game before considering it.
So, by "custom character" does that mean just a dude? Meaning, is it a preset protagonist guy, that you can alter? Or can you choose gender, background, etc?
How both games will exist and fromsoftware are the original ogs and bloodborne 2 will be above all.. eventually Sony will own fromsoftware as they own 20 percent of the company all ready with bluepoints game input too will take it to higher levels 👑.

the previous in my opinion was not great but let's see if they manage to capture the atmosphere and the grotesque better this time around. From the video it looks 100% copy cat which is not promising (some locations are a complete rip off actually 2:012:08 ... wow! If I was FROM I would sue.). I will personally wait for a sale on this one.. looks like a cash grab 2 me but hey I may be wrong....
I think it will run great on Ps5! I think Ps5 has shown it can handle great looking games with amazing lighting at 60! It's proven it can hold its own. U seen Horizon Forbidden West, or Forspoken, or Demon Souls, or God Of War, or Ratchet And Clank, or Spiderman? All run at a perfect 60fps! So to be honest I don't think Ps5 owners have anything to worry about when it comes to running this at 60fps.
How come you didn't mention the ridiculously huge set back they are currently facing for "accidentally" stealing Elden Rings animations? They now have to create entirely new ones. That cant be good...
