I have a Traeger Lil Tex Elite and the instructions in this video says to remove the screws from the bottom at the front and back....my unit has them on the side front and back. When you removed these four (4) screws all of the Pellets you have in the hopper end up on the ground. That being said I would have had a warning at the onset to remove all the existing pellets. Another suggestion is to put numbers (#1 - #2) etc....on the wiring harnesses when they are manufactured as the colors of the wiring on my unit does not match the description in this video.
you weren't supposed to remove the hopper. This video shows a cover screen being removed from the bottom which yours does not have. Also, yes removing the hopper with all the pellets in it will cause all the pellets to fall out. that should have been self explanatory.
Just bought a PRO 22, I have tried to cook twice with it, both times it shut down on me, had to call for help and talk to someone who I couldn't understand their English, guess they are in another country, had I known that I wouldn't have bought it, now I have to work on it to fix it with a new thermostat, I didn't spend $600 to work on something and have to try to understand some one in a foreign country.
Tough crowd. This was awesome. Thank you.
Fantastic Video! Nobody BUT you clearly identified the wiring post installation. Kudos! Great job ;)

Install new controller on my bbq07e now it runs away with temp. At smoke I stoped it at 300. Is this a bad controller or just a bad install?
Same thing is happening to me. The auger just keeps feeding the fire. Did you ever figure out a fix?
Very useful 👏🏼👏🏼
I have an older model Traeger and the control panel doesn't fit in the 2.25" cutout. Any links to a video for this long-time Traeger user?

Music is beyond horrible when you are trying to write down colors for wiring
I replaced my controller and noted all of the colours before I unhooked them.
