When your “oil life” gets to 15%, a reminder will come on your dashboard letting you know that it’s time to change the oil. The newer models claim to have technology that monitors the oil, so it doesn’t go by a set number of miles anymore. Although, there is nothing wrong with changing the oil every 3000 or 5000 miles.

My car oil life is 60% its is ok to reset to 100% without oil change?
I wouldn’t. Why reset it if you haven’t changed the oil?
