Aw man, I went with the more timid 265/75-16. Those look pretty awesome. I dig these first gens,a lthough there is a SEVERE lack of aftermarket support for all the cool new gear, so it looks like "build" it will be.
There is a crazy amount of aftermarket man but it’s like dudes with machine shops doing custom stuff. What are you looking for? Winch mounts? Bumpers ? What do you need
Not sure really. Being the 3.4 it wasn’t great to start with but imagine I only lost an mpg or 2 possibly. It doesn’t really get driven enough to really calculate it out
@@WreckingBall541 for sure thanks … my biggest concern was just rubbing. I’m go with 265/70/16 to play it safe. wanted do 265/75/16 at first but wasn’t sure if it would of been too over kill and mostly cause I have a stock suspension
Thank you. When I’m all articulated up I am having a little bit of rub. I’d probably go 265 75 16 if I did it again. I kinda want to throw an inch of body lift then go 305 next time I’m ready for tires though. Same height just a little wider
@@WreckingBall541 oh okay, good to know. I had been thinking of upgrading my tires to bigger size but wasn't sure. Your take on this is giving me a good reference of what to do now.
Nice Tacoma, she's sitting just right brother! I have the same truck 🛻 ,just did a S.A.Swap with a Hybrid Front Axle, now she's kinda tall , you know 😂 Great video brother TY, if you get a chance check out my Tacoma @frankrubicon_ and my RUclips channel
Thanks for showing me what my 03 is going to look like. I'm too old for that crazy kid stuff too. Stay Awesome!
Awesome video man! Noted everything I needed to know about lifting and putting 33’s on my 03’. Thanks brother.
No problem. Thank you.
Be awesome, stay awesome! Right on, brotha! Thanks for the vid and the info!

I have a little rub when in a bump and wheel turned and really dislike it. Next set will be 265s unless I throw a 1 inch body lift in the near future

@@WreckingBall541 Let me know if you want to trade for my 265's haha
Thanks for the info I’m planning to run 33s as well with stock wheels
very informative video, for me at least. i like how you go for simplicity. and your good energy/vibes. tacos por vida
Thanks for sharing!
live aloha bro mahalo for the vid and the infro
Looks amazing. Going for this exact look. Are the spacers 100% required to fit the 33s?
@@Gamecock if you run aftermarket offset wheels you can get away from the spacers
Noted. I have the same truck. 3.4 5 speed. TRD. thanks for the info
happen to have a link to the spacers you used for the truck?

Awesome video
Looks great 👍🏽 . Did you have to change new nuts when you put the spacers on it?
The spacers came with nuts. Recently went to a more offset wheel and 32 11.5 tires the wheels are ion alloy 15x10
@@WreckingBall541 what spacers did you use? Do you have the link?
i have a 2” level puck on my front shocks but no block in the back, will a 33 fit with 1.25 spacers? i dint see why not but figured id check
I think It would rub when turning. Id do A 265 75 to be safe it’s a little taller than a 265 70 and easier to find 10 ply tires in
Great video thank you 👍🏻
i’ve got the same truck identical love it
What’s the mileage on the beauty now?

What size camper shell is that? And where did you get it?
Stay awesome!
Did you regear it ????
run the same dimension a half decade before on my mercedes g230. memories 😁
Looks sweet 👍
Big tire even for a 3700 v6...
Did you smash the pinchweld?
I did. When I’m turned while dropping off something or going up something it does rub a little which I don’t like.
You think I could run 31x10.5x16 on a 95 ? My hole truck stock
31 10.5 15 or 265 70 16 you’re golden 👍

Your front coils the stock ones? Or did you buy a whole set of coil overs from bilstien?
Yes stock springs
Nice. Looks good on it 👍🏻
The front still looks higher then the rear
Hey Man, your pickup looks awesome! I have a similar one, i think i just might upgrade my tires like yours.
