    *Postscript:*
*This is actually the first HL1 mod I ever tried out, long before I create the spreadsheet*
*I died at least 10 times (and most if not all got trimmed), during the recording session*

Anti-Climax, this mod took place in the alternative ending of Half-Life. Where the G-Man put you into the battle that you have no chance of winning, this mod is extremely difficult, which is to reflect the theme.
If you really attempt this mod for the first time, then expect to do constant trial and error, one for trying to survive a horde of Alien Grunts and Alien Controllers without a ranged weapon, and two for having to platform simultaneously. Once find the crowbar, and free Xen Moths for activating the teleporter, things should become a bit more manageable, but still quite tricky. The level design largely differs from what you will expect from Half-Life. It's entirely non-linear, as that being said, you have to have lots of back and fore between each area until you obtain enough firepower and free vortigaunt from their prison.
The goal of this mod is to kill all Alien Grunts in the starting area, then the mod will end. This mod is indeed difficult, yet for a good reason, without the assistance of Vortigaunt, it's indeed the battle that you have no chance of winning. The only issue I had with this mod is the teleporter, it's basically the waiting game, and sometimes it might kill the pacing, having different teleporters would work better.
Overall, I like it, it stays true to the original material, capture the tone of hopelessness, yet remains beatable. I would recommanded it, however, just be prepared for the challenges if you want to try this out.
